Nice extra guest chair. Just what I needed. Easy to assemble. from Galesburg, IL on 01/20/2015 – Verified Buyer
Good sturdy chair for use as a guest chair (or in my case, an extra wide chair for my dog!). Good though if you did want to accommodate a heavy set client or one that has trouble getting around - like with a walker.
Chair was easy to put together. One tip, if you have Berber carpet, you might want to pop off the 4 plastic buttons on the bottom so it slides around easy. Leave then on if you are using on a hard floor, however, to prevent scratching.
Also, the padding part is hard foam inside as opposed to my old one that had an inner spring system. The spring system was probably more comfortable at first, but got in bad shape over time. It looks like this padding will hold up well. Comfort is not a huge issue in a guest chair as people are usually not sitting there long depending on your business.

I am a very large tall 450 lb man, I recently had a knee replacement surgery and used a chair like this at the physical therapy center.I did some research and ordered the chair on-line. The chair is reasonably priced , so I ordered it. I like the chair, it is is comfortable and strong and wide and the arms help me to raise. The chair is attractive and is being used in my living room.

Nightmare to Assemble from Washington State on 04/14/2012
These are not for anyone who doesn't have strong hands and above average manual dexterity and strength. Assembly involves holding large panels in position while trying to line up metal brackets that are hard to see when in position & may or may not be positioned correctly per manufacturer instruction sheet. I gave up after knocking things over trying to wrestle the things into position in the living room and have now moved the entire mess onto the bed for another try.

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get it together without help and as a single adult that might take some doing. If you don't have help, pass these up. Brackets and wood frame look flimsy. I'd be surprised if once assembled it actually holds the weight it specifies. Would not purchase again if I could afford better quality.

BIG MAN ** BIG CHAIR ** BIG VALUE from Springfield, Virginia on 05/02/2010 – Verified Buyer
I use my chairs as desk and side chairs. The only thing I would do to improve their comfort would be to add some additional padding to the seat and in particular the leading edge. Being a BIG man, my legs often feel the added pressure caused by the lack of padding on the front edge of the seat resulting in my lower legs and feet going to sleep.

Other than this, I find these chairs quite comfortable.
