truth in advertising

This item was advertised as being of oak construction. The only oak was a very thin oak veneer in the visible areas and brown paint elsewhere. The structural areas such as the legs were solid wood, but not oak.The only good thing I can say about it is that it fit my application perfectly.

Although we hate assembling orders, the desk is perfect - fits exactly as we hoped.
Happy with purchase!

Nice desk overall. Needed a corner desk for a desk top computer and wanted it to blend with the "mission" style of the house. Assembly took a couple of hours but no problems over all. Very pleased with this purchase- nice piece of furniture and a great price!

Corner desk holds up great. Perfect for my PC with plenty of room on the surface for papers, etc.
Dont Do It
Steve from Long Island City, NY– Verified Buyer
On the third use the keyboard tray fell out. Upon further inspection, the cam bolt is bent and can't be fixed. Luckily it doesn't look great, and feels generally pretty cheap, so we already were pretty disappointed. Off to the garbage...
Picture is misleading
Gail from Florida
The picture on your description is very misleading in my opinion. The desk if very large and bulky. What looks like a front drawer is not a drawer at all but a keyboard tray. I wantedneeded something with a front drawer. When I was putting this desk together I kept thinking to myself that I must have missed something or done something wrong, but no. It's just very misleading. I didn't want to deal with taking it apart and sending it back. I junked the thing.

Assembly was not difficult, but time consuming. The color of the components is not consistent. Real wood pieces are red oak as pictured. Pressed board pieces are a mohagony color. Desk top had a nice scratch in it. As usual with these made in China products, once assembled, it is not worth dis-assembling to return for a refund or new desk.

Looks nice, easy to assemble. Not super high quality (as you can see once you open the drawer), but it works well for a part-time desk.

Very pretty and functional!

This desk was exactly what we needed in a small space. It took a while to put together, but the directions were clear. It looks nice and is very functional.
