Love it, does come with basket!
Jeanie from Elkhart, IN– Verified Buyer
First, the Q&A is WRONG, this DOES come with the basket. It just happen to be in 2 pieces. You actually assemble the bottom piece of the basket to the already attached sides that laid flat in box. Very easy to assemble with 4 screws. I almost didn't buy this due to it saying no basket but I really liked the style and size for my living room. It's a perfect fit and works so well with my decor. The basket is great for hats, gloves and scarves. For the rest of it, it was pretty easy to assemble. Just a tip, I would make sure NOT to tighten any bolts until the tall back panel piece (A) goes into place first. Actually, you can you probably tighten on side more then the other. Trust me, the back panel will fit, you just have to make sure to allow for some wiggle room and then once on, tighten away. Actually, I would just add it on as soon as you get the first piece on called the shelf frame (D). That's the piece the basket sits on and then add the other 3 pieces after the back panel. Also, make sure that shelf frame is on where the lip is toward the back. I accidently put it on backwards and it took me a few seconds to realize it when I went to put the basket in place. I couldn't figure out why the basket was not sliding in and out in an easy fashion. That's when I had the, duh moment, and just flipped it around. I hope this helps other people when buying it. You won't regret it if you are looking for a cute, functionally, great priced item. It's perfect for my kids coats and back packs and my stuff as well. I love it.
Nice product for the price.

I was very pleased at how quick the shipping was on this product and it was free! I was able to put it together alone in what would have been under an hour, but unfortunately the drawer gave me problems. the outer four panels are attached and the bottom needs to be screwed into them but the metal rod was too long. I did my best to file it own and eventually was able to pop the bottom in and somewhat fit the screws in. The drywall anchors are good to have but are starting to come out because the baseboards on the wall do not allow the tree hall to push up flush to the wall. I am still very pleased with the product and works well in a small space.
Perfect addition to our entryway

First purchase thru Wayfair and very happy with every aspect! It arrived quickly, packaging was great, assembly was piece of cake and it looks just like it does in pic.
Excellent Product for the Value--I absolutely love it!!!

Product matches description and picture exactly. My husband put it together in about an hour (while watching football) and it looks very nice in our small mudroom. I am going to put a cover or blanket on top of the suedelike cushion seat so that it won't get wet and dirty from the elements.
exactly what I needed
Maria from Ridgewood, NY– Verified Buyer
needed something small for my entryway and this fit perfectly. its not flimsy at all and super easy to set up (i did it by myself). the only thing i dislike, the small "drawer" that it comes with, makes a lot of squeaking noise when you open it. Why? the drawer is made of some kind of wicker type material and rest of this item is made from metal. When they rub together (to pull out the drawer), it makes a super squeaky sound.
Beautiful Entry Pseudo-closet
Heather from PATCHOGUE, NY– Verified Buyer
I purchased this item to spruce up our apartment entryway and to de-clutter the shoes and coats everyone leaves by the front door. It is just perfect, and the open back keeps it from closing in the area. It is very sturdy, though we cannot attach the top bars to the wall because there is a heater. It still feels very sturdy to sit on. This is my 3-year olds "special seat" to put his shoes on when we need to go out and it works like a charm! ;) Not my first or last purchase from Wayfair!
Inexpensive and decent quality

This hall tree is a great addition to the massage therapy room in my wellness center. Clients have a place to disrobe and take off shoes. The four hooks are great for hanging clothes and jacket, and the basket is perfect for personal items.

Needed a place to hang our jackets near the front porch. Perfect size nice clean lines and the extra storage drawer works out as a great place for dog leash. Nice place to put your shoes too and a place to sit to put them on! Easy to assemble was missing a rubber cap for the hooks 1 phone call and a few days later in was in my mailbox.
Small entry solution
Candace from Houston, TX– Verified Buyer
This is a nice piece for the price. We have a smallish entry with a very small closet ... great solution to add extra storage for gloves / scarves and for placing everyday jackets. Makes a nice drop spot too. Cushion is not very comfortable, but is good enough for purpose of putting on shoes as you are walking out the door.
Nice but not perfect
Jennifer from Boulder, CO– Verified Buyer
The entryway hall tree looks as shown in the photo. It fits nicely in a small entryway. It is perfect to hang jackets, backpacks, etc. on it. I do feel it is a nice piece for the price. The reason I am giving it three stars instead of four is for two reasons. Reason one, the metal was slightly misaligned and made it difficult to put in a screw. I was able to somehow get it to work. The second issue I have is that the piece is wobbly. It does have screw holes on top to mount to the wall. That would definitely help the problem except we have a baseboard which does not allow us to put it flush against the wall and so we can't mount it. The description should note that it must be mounted for item to work properly. Looking back now, I would recommend getting a bench and then mounting a small coat rack to the wall. It was too late to return after I took it out of the package and assembled it.
