Needed some elbow grease!
Sonia from HIALEAH, FL– Verified Buyer
I must admit, receiving this is the mail, within record breaking shipping time got me very excited..... Until I got the gazillion metal rods out of the box. I read the direction, and the assembly time. Reading the 30 minutes assembly time, I thought how is that possible with all of these metal rods. So, after a hour... I was beat. Some of the metal rods were not pre-drilled all the way through. So, I took a screwdriver and started going through the gazillion metal rods one by one. (Oh yeah, there were two sides to each metal rod *sigh*). I was exhausted. I thought I would tackle the shoe monster the next day. Got home from work and went at it again. It took me about another hour, putting some extra elbow grease behind each twist and turn of the screwdriver..... The masterpiece was finally complete. I looked at the directions again and said "hmph, 30 minutes was definitely misleading". Needless to say, my show rack is standing tall. A little shaky but tall. #NoMoreShoesAllOverTheFloor
Life-changing shoe organizer!
Heather from Saint Joseph, MI– Verified Buyer
This shoe organizer has changed my life (no joke)! My 3 kids used to throw their shoes everywhere when they came in the house from our garage, as we do not have a mud room. We have a narrow hallway to pass through, so not only was this an eyesore, but it was a tripping hazard. I came across this shoe organizer and problem immediately solved! My husband, kids, & I all can fit our shoes on the shoe rack outside of our garage entry. Since we store kids shoes on it as well, we can easily fit more than 50 pairs. My preschool & 1st grade children have been great at remembering to place their shoes on their own racks, with only the occasional reminder needed. I love that the shoe rack is on wheels so I can move it aside if I need to access our circuit board panel in the garage. Took about 20-25 mins. to assemble & it very sturdy. Looks nice with the chrome & black finishes too. Cannot say enough about how much I love this shoe rack and how it has made our house more organized & functional!
Excellent shoe storage

I had some concerns with some of the reviews but after finding out for myself, none of them concerned me. This is a fabulous shoe rack. I don't have large feet so I got five pair a row easy. You can even fit another row on the floor underneath the last rack with flat shoes for 55 pair usage instead of 50. Boots or extreme wedges won't fit except for the top shelf, but super high heels will. Hang the heel over the back rail and underneath the heel on the next shelf, put a flat shoe. The bars and sides are sturdy and I was amazed at how compact it all was with 55 pairs of shoes, using the absolute minimum space. It was incredibly fast to put together. Even the screws are heavy duty.
Shoe Rack Perfection
Jimmy from Houston, TX– Verified Buyer
I ordered two (2) of these shoe racks because I was convinced I needed two. However after easily putting one together, I put my shoes on it just to see what it could hold. That shoe rack comfortably held fifty-seven (57) pairs of shoes! Over half of my shoe collection are Converse tennis shoes and the rest are boots and dress shoes. By the way I'm a guy. The shoe rack is very sturdy metal. It's top notch quality. The 2nd shoe rack looks kind of lonely with only a few pairs of shoes on it. So there's only one way to remedy the situation, BUY MORE SHOES! Bottom line this was a superior purchase. I would recommend this shoe rack to everyone who needs one. Thanks Wayfair. This was my 1st purchase with you. We're off to a great start!

I didn't have a hard time putting it together like some reviewers stated they did. The distance between the rows is a tad short. My wedges needed to go in sideways to stand them on the shelf. The shelves themselves have a grippy surface so your shoes don't slide or slip off. It seems a tad wobbly when rolling it. Maybe I need to put more shoes on it. I sense a shopping trip is in order. The wheels are a nice feature. They make it a breeze to move shoes out of the way when vacuuming the walk in.

This is the best shoe rack I've seen on-line from any site. It's very sturdy, and I love the casters on the bottom too. I bought this to replace an over-the-door rack I had that didn't hold near enough shoes and banged every time the door opened & closed. Now ALL of my shoes, and my husband's too, are neatly organized and up off the floor. Thank you, Wayfair! You were the only website that had exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this to anybody who needs to organize lots of shoes.
Very good shoe rack
Catherine from Baltimore– Verified Buyer
I really like this rack. It has a covering on the rods that make this a no slip rack. That's great. What I didn't expect was just how close each rack is to the next rack. While that may work for high heels as the heels drop down. It's not so great for wedgies or sandals that have an ankle buckle. Other than that, it's of the best shoes racks I've used. I do recommended it.
Sturdy and reliable so far

I purchased this because I had an old plastic shoe rack from Target that would collapse every other week. After its final collapse, I searched the internet for a steel/metal shoe rack. I came across this one. Its very sturdy and it even has wheels. The only bad thing was putting this rack together. It took more time than expected.
Just what I was looking for

I had another shoe rack that could not take the weight of the 50 pair of shoes it was suppose to hold. I saw this soon after my other collapsed. So happy with this purchase. Went together very easy. Love the wheels with locking mechanism. I have it filled and it is very sturdy.

I really like this shoe rack. It was easy to put together and reminds me of the quality you find in department store shoe departments. My goal was actually to limit my shoe collection to 50 pairs, and this does the trick for me. I now have the opportunity to decide which shoes I really love and which I can live without and never have to go searching for the ones I know I have but were previously among several different locations.
