Assembly easy, wish the legs were easier to adjust (push button type instead of having to remove the screws). As expected, just a little slow in being shipped.

Perfect for the homeschooling family

This was my third purchase of this desk (for my third child), and I absolutely adore them! The lift-lid desk allows the child to keep all her personal textbooks, workbooks, and materials nice and neatly contained in one space. The desktop may seem a little small in this era of executive desk spreads, but with children, I find that it encourages focus on the one assignment at hand. Also, as a homeschooling family, I find that the contents of the desk stay stealth from little siblings who like to explore. This keeps everything organized and schooltime productive. We have had no problems with snapping fingers or lift-lid related injuries, and I especially like the elevated pencil tray at the opening of the desk. I think this product would be effective in any study environment.
