Great Little Desk for storage in a tight spot
Alisa from Shawnee, KS – Verified Buyer
I am a professional seamstress and needed a small desk (less than 17" deep) to go next to my sewing machine. This worked perfect because it not only was the right size but it also offered the extra storage to the right. I was a little worried after reading the reviews but since it was the only desk I could find I decided it was worth trying . This was not that difficult to put together!!! I have had to put together several pieces of furniture lately and this was no more difficult than the others, the only difference is it uses wood glue. The wood glue comes in a bag which I thought was odd. I happened to have some wood glue that was in a plastic container so I poured the bag into the container and it made it much easier to use. I would recommend doing the same personally. Also, you just want to use a little wood glue, to much and it just becomes a mess. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the drawers don't seem like they could support much weight. Some of the drawer bottoms didn't fit into the grooves perfectly which means they could bow out if something to heavy is put in them. I wish they would have included little support clips that also hold the drawer bottom. I know they exist because other furniture I have put together did include them. This is a good little desk for the money.

Quality control must lacking! arrived with one drawer veneer paper torn so parts would not come together ,. hole for one cam lock right through the wood witch made it almost impossible to lock the parts together. Glue comes in a bag not tubes as in directions, some metal pins are really small wood dowels. other metal pins don't line up as they are supposed too! You need right angle brackets to hold drawers together until glue sets. They suggest 2 hours however if your application is a little thick it will need more like 4

Until fully assembled, it's a puzzle with too many fragile parts. Seems solid when built, but for how long?

Not easy to assemble. Very small in size. Glue was missing. Took 2 days to assemble. And no paper work, so unable to return.
It's hard to assemble @##$$$%%&&*(()
