it's great, not perfect Serves the exact purpose of purchase, but would like it to be a bit more sturdy or durable. I like the fact that it can be easily stored. |

Compact and easy to move Perfect for small spaces. Drawer bottoms are a little flimsy, but we added some extra glue to hold them secure. |

great cabinet for the price great sewing desk/cabinet. went together easily with no problems. cons. have a container of wood glue handy because the 2 tubes they supply run out quickly.DO NOT USE GORILLA GLUE OR SIMILIAR PRODUCTS AS THEY WILL MAR THE FINISH !. if there is a problem with a sticking drawer on the bottom swap the drawer with another one as there is enough play in the drawers to solve the problem.i am going to paint the insides of the drawers and any raw wood surfaces to seal in any outgassing of glue chemicals.remember that this cabinet is made of particleboard. DO NOT PAINT THE DRAWER SLIDES!. also i am going to paint the drawer pulls to give the cabinet a better appearance. these are not necessarily cons but helpful suggestions in assembly & improving the looks & functuality of a great low price desk/cabinet. |

Wonderful desk This desk is a perfect work table. I use it for crafts/work. It is solid and made nice. Takes time to put together though. The drawers are a little tough to keep together while the glue was drying so my husband put them on their side and put books on them over night. Once the draws are in, they work fine. The parts were made perfect so everything fits. |

I would buy this product again. Easy to put together, very nice. I have it in my bedroom and it goes very nicely in there. Looks more expensive then it was.. |

Very practical The design of this piece is very ingenious, and just what I was looking for--providing drawer space in a relatively narrow piece of furniture, but also able to provide a larger temporary work space surface when needed. I was originally dismayed when I saw the way the drawers were constructed, and the design of the drawer "tracks," which are merely small strips of MDF board that the drawers rest on. Also, there are no drawer catches. Put I've found that the drawers slide well, and fit snugly into their spots, so there is little risk of pulling a drawer all the way out, unless you REALLY aren't paying attention. The downside, which is temporary--much of the construction involves gluing various pieces together with the "two" little plastic bags of wood glue, although there was only one in the kit. Like others have commented, I used my own wood glue--for the quantity needed, and also it was easier to control placement of the glue than squeezing glue out of a plastic bag. I found the gluing process to be VERY messy. After applying glue and putting each joint together, you need to wipe off the excess glue that squeezes out of the joint, or it will dry in hard lumps, and in the case of the drawer slides, interfere with the sliding of the drawers. I went through about four rolls of paper towels doing this, and got glue all over my clothes (work clothes, luckily). I suppose a rag might work OK if you rinse it frequently in a bucket of water. Otherwise, make sure you have lots of paper towels handy. The plastic handles that came with the unit looked really junky, but I found compatible handles at a reasonable price. In spite of the challenging construction process, I find the piece useful, conveniently designed, and I haven't found any other functionally similar piece of furniture available. I expect it to be a very useful piece of furniture. Whether it will hold up in the long term remains to be seen, of course, but I'm hopeful! |

Good looking product. Very practical. This is a great product. I use it as a make-up table so I can store all of my products in the drawers. The one drawback is the glue used to put a lot the desk together. It is messy. It comes in a little plastic bag and I ran out because it's hard to control how much comes out. It would work much better if it were in a tube. I ended up using my own wood glue from a tube because it is easier to control how much glue you use and where it goes. I would recommend picking some up before starting to put it together. |

A good, inexpensive desk for 5 year old The desk is for a 5 year old. We didn't put the casters on so it is more her size. During assembly it was apparent that some of the holes didn't line up and the drawer bottoms weren't long enough front to back to avoid cracks or provide stability. Needed to McGyver a fix for them. |
