Unusual and fun from Ashburn, VA on 09/22/2013
These shelves are a great idea. They mount easily. Then, you simply slide one hardcover book's back cover into the little catch, and stack whatever other books you wish on top of the first. You start with the largest book in the stack, and then choose progressively smaller books as you go up. The shelves are rated for 15 pounds each, which is probably five or six hardcovers on average (you can stack paperbacks, too, except for the first book) depending on their size. Removing any book for the first one is simply a matter of sliding it out of the stack. Of course, these shelves aren't going to replace an eight-foot bookcase. But as an accent, they create a great effect: your books appear to be magically floating on the wall. We hung three of these in an area of our main floor we call our reading nook, and we couldn't be happier with them.

Amazing, but get smaller version for your normal hardcover/paperbacks from Jersey City, NJ on 09/28/2015 – Verified Buyer
I absolutely love these shelves! I purchased both the small and large version, planning on using the large on some of my bigger paperbacks (e.g. Barnes & Noble has that Leatherbound Classics collection) but the shelf is too big for them. I tried on a variety of books, and it only seems to fit for large coffee table books, yearbooks, or textbooks, so order accordingly. I personally used heavy duty screw mounts rather than the provided mounts because I wanted to be able to really stack these. It's recommended that you use the provided screw/brace in a stud, and I wanted to be more flexible with the design of my shelves. They worked really well with just a generic heavy-weight brace/screw combo and look fantastic! Super easy to install. Pros: Very easy to install, look fantastic, and seem durable Cons: Large was bigger than I expected, had to use other screws & braces to avoid being restricted to mounting in the studs

Conceal Wall Mounted Shelf from South Pasadena, CA on 09/18/2014 – Verified Buyer
This shelf is the most fun you can have when stacking books! The ingenious design allows you to use a book as the support shelf, then stack up to 5 pounds of smaler books or lightweight objects on it. And when you are done, all you see is the stack! I love the first 2 up so much, I plan on installing 6 more ... and that is just in the living room! The large shelf is better for heavier books, like references and text books, while the smaller shelf is great for lightweight books, like Sunset's Garden books or your favorite paperbacks. I wish I had these when I lived in the dorms! A great way to keep books handy and off the floor without filling up available desktop space.

Soooo Coool!!! from Des Plaines, IL on 05/06/2015 – Verified Buyer
What a great solution instead of bookshelves. These floating shelves keep my books off the floor and really make for a cool wall display! Make sure to order the smaller ones first which fit almost all regular book sizes the larger ones hold really big books. Silver or white doesnot matter as nothing shows when the books are on the shelves! Pros: great way to display your favorite books Cons: You will have to drill holes in the wall so make sure you want them where you put them!

I LOVE this item. It's very sturdy and easily supports the books. from Albertville, AL on 07/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
It's perfect, very sturdy and performs exactly as described. It easily supports the books and even has 2 small lips to hold the bottom back of the book giving it that floating effect. Pros: Made of sturdy metal and easily supports the books Cons: I wish it came with the screws and toggles to hang it. Since it holds a fairly heavy stack of books it needs to be well hung on the wall to support it.
