I actually bought this for a small netbook resting shelf for my daughters room and it's working great for that purpose
Cool, but very specific

These are really neat! The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is that there is a proprietary size book that you have to have to be the base. Other than that, very whimsical & neat!

Nice little shelf for books. I would order more than one, as it looks a bit different than a normal shelf.
What a conversation piece

Love, love, love, we have had books in plastic bins for years and these now allow us to display, make them easily usseable and take up little space - don't cheat yourself - order more than you might need - be sure to check the weight restrictions - this will not disappoint.

These shelves are a great idea. They mount easily. Then, you simply slide one hardcover book's back cover into the little catch, and stack whatever other books you wish on top of the first. You start with the largest book in the stack, and then choose progressively smaller books as you go up. The shelves are rated for 15 pounds each, which is probably five or six hardcovers on average (you can stack paperbacks, too, except for the first book) depending on their size. Removing any book for the first one is simply a matter of sliding it out of the stack.
