I have to disagree with the other reviewers about the assembly. We recently sold all of our furniture with the sale of our house and have been buying and assembling a LOT of RTA furniture. I've encountered missing holes, defective hardware bolts, split or broken pieces, and missing parts. But this desk was an exception. All of the materials arrived with none of these problems. At first I thought the instructions were vague but after I began assembly I was glad there were no translated verbose written instructions that can sometimes cause headaches. The labels worked out great for me since I only needed to label some of the similar sized pieces (less to remove after assembly). All the dowel/bolt holes were milled correctly so no stripped or broken fasteners. In short, it was (almost) fun to assemble, not having to interpret a 30 page manual and fight with incorrect or missing hardware and parts. :)

Spacious desk which met my space limitations but equipment demands (computers, two screens etc). It is a well made and attractive desk which improved the décor of a dull office space. The only bad thing I would say is it took three hours to put together by someone who is a professional carpenter, None of the pieces are labels and the manufacturers should really improve this when planning to pack the item for purchase.
GREAT DESK. VERY STRONG AND IMPRESSIVE

I am sitting at this desk as I write this review. It is one of the best self assemble pieces of furniture I have ever purchased. the materials were very heavy and strong, but assembly was surprisingly easy and very sturdy once together. I would never know it was not professionally constructed. Lots of ledges and draws for all the materials and devices you need and very stylish in appearance. Though it is rather larger than I expected, that's a good thing, I feel great every time I sit down at it to work.

Wonderful desk. I love it. Only 2 things wrong. 1) The directions,,,,,,what directions? All the pieces are there, but it's like doing a puzzle with a blindfold on. So you need a lot of patience & luck. #2) When you're leaning on the desk the formica edge is pretty sharp so you need to go to the hardware store (I support the mom & pops stores in my neighborhood) and get a rubber edge molding otherwise it hurts like heck after 10-`15 minutes. So nothing major at all. Great desk at a great price!!!! Pros: blank Cons: blank
A pain to assemble
Robin from Jefferson, LA – Verified Buyer
The final product is nice at least. Getting there is the frustrating part. First off, it came in three separate boxes, so I spent a good while opening each box and getting the large pieces of trash out of my way in order to start working. Then, you come to an immediate halt: the pieces are not labeled with letters to guide you. There is a sheet of sticker letters that YOU must put on each piece by meticulously identifying which piece is which; comparing their holes, sizes, and shapes by flipping through the instructors. Some of this is even more frustrating because there are several similar pieces. After that step is finally completed, you may find you put some of the wrong letters on the wrong pieces. The instructions contain no verbal guides...only visual. I am an artist and pay attention to visual details and subtle variations, but this was still difficult to follow the instructions. They cram whole sections of the desk into one frame, offering some zoom-ins of specific screws and pieces, but not others. A lot of this was still difficult to interpret because their DRAWINGS of the pieces are often too small. A specific example is while putting the tracks on the sliding drawer that is meant for your keyboard, the guide's image is too small. I had to unscrew and reassemble the tracks several times with trial and error until they worked properly. Anyone with optical conditions might end up burning their unfinished desk instead of building it. There were even mistakes where I had a piece facing me in the exact way it was pictured, using the screws and other indentifying marks as a guide, but their drawing depicted certain pieces being the opposite of what they actually were. I completed the desk, as intended, with a sigh of relief. I've assembled several items of furniture like this, but I have never had such a grueling time with the process involved as I had with this one.
great looking desk

Desk looks good and is sturdy. Tvilum customer service was very helpful with resolving a damaged part issue. I would give it 5 stars if only the keyboard pullout could have been longer instead of having the empty space above the drawers...there is not enough room for mouse and keyboard to fit comfortably if you wanted to put both on it.
The good, the bad and not so ugly!

I love the desk but it was a bugger to put together. I do not have an engineering mind. I am accustomed to pieces having numbers assigned to them. This came w a separate sheet w numbers hence one had to figure out which number went w which piece. And there r many pieces to this desk. I hired someone more capable to do the putting together. I would buy it again tho despite the difficulties. Pros: Nice piece of furniture Cons: Hard to assemble. Need better instructions.
very functional white desk

I looked for a white desk like this for over 5 months on the internet. Glad I found it on wayfair.com. it is a great desk. however it took me more than 2 hours to assembly the desk. so far I am happy with it. a lot a storage and nice finish.

The computer desk is just what I was expecting. It is a great quality for a great price. The assembly was very difficult just because there were a lot of parts but they were labeled very clearly which was very nice.
Excellent storage desk with a few bumps in the construction
Samantha from Cary, NC – Verified Buyer
Overall, this desk is exactly what I wanted - storage galore! The instructions are wordless, so it gets kind of confusing at times tying to decipher how some things are supposed to be placed. the worst is installing the keyboard tray - I still haven't gotten that right. Pros: easy assembly, amble storage Cons: poor instructions
