Convenience and style at a great price

I usually don't like modern furniture, but this desk is stylish and does not clog up a room. Lots of work space, flexibility of installing the keyboard on either side of the desk. Took a normal amount of time to put together (2h? going slow), and it was not complicated (we are not handy the type, so take my words). It feels sturdy. Right now used by my husband and holds 2x27inches monitors, 1 laptop connected to them, One IMAC (21 inches?) - keyboard underneath, 1 bosh speaker/Ipad docking station, 1 karaoke speaker. Price was right - on sale. No storage space (in our case they just get filled w junk, so it's perfect). Also, we had fun and got a few neon strips at Ikea and installed light underneath the glass (on the metal rods). And it looks great at night (got the inspiration from youtube).
Not easy to assemble

Now that the desk is installed, I'm pretty happy with it. HOWEVER, the pre-drilled screw holes in the metal were so difficult to use - we had to try each hole several times before the screen would go in right. Once all of the pieces were together, we put the glass on and the glass is a tight fit on the far edge of the desk against the wall but it's off on the side facing me as I'm using the desk. The glass is not at the same height (by about 14 to 12 an inch) and is separated by about 14 to 12 an inch). It's not enough to make it unusable and it's on the corner piece which won't impact me much with the way I'm using the desk. If I had seen this set up in a store display this way though, I may not have given the desk the consideration it deserved for my uses. I have it set up the opposite way of the display photo and use the short end for my personal computer and have my work computer set up on the corner piece so I can use the long side for work, conference calls, taking notes, etc. It works for me, just not great assembly.
Great bang for the buck!

This desk is pretty sturdy if you use a power drill. Get it all together on a hard surface first before adding the glass, connecting the corner and tightening in the top screws. Your goal is to get the glass pieces to line up. There is wiggle room before tightening up the crossbars on how highlow the glass sits. Once you have the corner in you can adjust the glass pieces to coincide with the corner. I ended up using a couple rubber washer on the the inside of the two desk where they meet in the corner. Nice set up once you have it dialed in. Pictures and bagged screws made this a pretty simple setup. If you're nit handy, have someone help,.
Everything lines up Sturdy

Purchased this for home use and was very surprised. It arrived in 2 boxes, 1 for the Glass and another for everything else. Boxes were about 40-50 pounds each. When putting it together I was extremely surprised that everything lined up perfectly. Did not have to fight anything. Did not strip any screws and no wobble when tightened. They even include extra hardware. The included screwdriver is a piece of junk though. When assembled it was very sturdy. Glad I bought this. Would buy again and would recommend it. Glass is frosted and laser mouse has no problem. Good job to whomever designed and machined it. Also the glass is fixed to the frame with screws so it will not fall off but this also could cause problems if moving as the glass may hit another piece and crack. Keyboard tray is fairly sturdy as well.
Easy To Please!

I love my new computer table. It has a lot of room and its very easy to clean the glass. There is a plenty of room for a printer and anything else you would like to put on the table. The glass is very pretty. The size was bigger than I had expected but I am getting used to that now, my 2 year old son can't reach my keyboard now or my mice! I am very glad I made this purchase and very please that its made a great place to my home.

A very solid desk with high quality materials. Very functional and definitely more solid than I would have expected for the price.
Very Functional Desk

This desk is functional and very sturdy. It took about 3 hours for me to put it together. I never was able to get the corner piece to be level with the other desk surfaces. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five.
Great looking table, works very well if you have the space!

Table looks great and works very well. I had mine for a little over a year before I decided to go with a regular desk. The L shape works great if you have the room but for my needs it took up a bit too much space for the narrow depth provided. Not enough room to work on if you have a multi monitor setup either.
Joshua from Burlington, VT
I love this desk. Apart from user errors, the desk came together rather easily and is not extremely heavy. I have two large monitors on it and a printer and still loads of room for other items.
