TPI 12" Floor Fan

I use this in front of my treadmill and it pushes a lot of air. Better than the one I had that was twice as big.

For a 12 inch fan, this item is quiet and very effective. This fan has all the ingredients you'd expect from an industrial quality fan. You can see immediately from the heavy gauge wire screen, the sizable synchronous motor, and the uniquely shaped heavy duty paddles. I'm quite satisfied.

Powerful, Quiet, but narrow Winded

I was looking for a fan to keep me cool while working on various projects. I wanted a SEALED motor because I didn't want the construction dust to clog the motor and over heat it (Industrial motors are "sealed", Commercial ones are not). This met every expectation I was looking for except there was one drawback. It's excellently constructed. Very quiet. Light weight. Very portable. Very powerful; but it also has a very narrow-focused wind path. It'll move a ton of air; but if you aren't directly in front of it, or have it pointed directly at you; there is almost no cooling effect. I can be on the floor working one minute and it's keeping me cool just fine, but as soon as I stand up, it might as well be in another room. There is no spread or width of field for the air movement. It's either right on or missing by a mile. Overall a very well built unit, but not very versatile.
