Not Bad for the Price

I usually avoid the quality furniture but this was exactly right for my space and storage requirements. HOWEVER Takes hours to put together but doable. Looks nice and will do the job.Just a few caveats about assembly: You will need both a standard phillips screwdriver fer the larger head screws and cams and a smaller phillips screwdriver to deal with some of the (many) very small head screws, The top has a sticky protective sheet on it that will take you no less than 1 hour to carefully peel off (loosen the entire back edge and sides and then peel towards the front). Do this last. The unit tends to tip toward the front so counter that when you load it up with items toward the back and make sure the casters are positioned to give you maximum stability. The casters are hard plastic not rubber but they are large and work well. Locking feature on the front pair are difficult to work. The hinges appear ok but somehow the doors are not level or squared evenly when closed (off about 14 inch from each other). Not really noticeable and not unusual with this quality item. My right hand door keeps opening even though the magnets are aligned with the metal plate. The top will show fingerprints so prepare to do some polishing with stainless cleaner.
Looks nice (and is nice), but putting it together wasn't exactly a hoot.

I live in a smaller house with a smaller kitchen, so when I took out a cupboard and drawer to make way for a dishwasher, I needed to get a portable island to fill the void (and to house the pots, pans, and silverware!) I perused Wayfair per recommendation, stumbling upon the pictured island which looks nice. It really is nice, especially with the stainless top. However, the directions were a bit off. Parts 9 and 10 (yes, this is a put-together, even though I swore off anything I had to put together when I bought a house) ... I digress ... the stickers on parts 9 and 10 were obviously switched, since one piece had the camlock and the other did not. So, that's was a bit confusing since we consumers must rely on the integrity of the directions as an ironclad guide for these projects. That said, it was an obvious error, so I simply switched them around and it fit (and bolted on) just fine. After putting it all together, I learned that the drawers didn't pull out as smooth as a built-in drawer does as part of a standard counter top setting. Again, I really wouldn't expect it to for the price. All said and done, it'll work for now. I don't regret buying it (on day 3) and am, for the most part, pleased with the purchase. It looks nice and does the job. Pros: Looks great, and allows for more counter space and storage than I had beforehand. Cons: Putting it together (although some people love these projects!) and not as stirdy as I had hoped. It's not wobbly or shabby, just not the cinderblock I had wanted.
Nice looking, mediocre quality

Definitely an adventure to put together and definitely requires 2 people. All in all it looks nice from the front, however the back is not designed in a way that it seems is meant to be exposed--which in my mind doesn't make sense for a kitchen island, which should in theory be able to be in the middle (ie visible from all sides!). Other than that, the drawers do not have glides but rather just slide in and out on wooden channels which is not great, and the magnets to hold the front doors shut are so weak that the doors pop open if you so much as touch the cart. Because of the unfinished backside, I am keeping this against a wall instead of in the center of my kitchen where I would prefer it, but I guess for the money its OK. It looks nice at any rate.

the cart is very well made. It was damaged in transit. One of the corners of the stainless steel top was smashed in and one of the corners of the doors had the paint shipped. The delivery driver delivered it to the wrong address and had to go back and pick it up the next day so I'm not certain if the damage occurred in transit or during the error in delivery. If it wasn't damaged, it would be perfect! It is very well made and sturdy and exactly what I had in mind. The only improvement that could be made is if the rear wall of the cart was made of the same wood as the sides of the cart instead of the pressboard. Despite the pressboard, this cart is solid. Very sturdy, great design, it looks lovely aside from the damage.
TMS Cart,,,serves the purpose.

Well, I read many a review on this product, I was hesitant to buy it, however, the price point was the only convincing choice. First, I'm very handy so I had some idea of what to expect from this cart; there are many pieces, but if you have put together any of those big box store furniture its the same issue. Once I had mine together it was to wobbly so I ended up reinforcing the inside and applying glue to crucial parts, including the pull out draws. I had no issue with alignment of any panels or doors. In end, the cart is satisfactory and serves our purpose; I made it more sturdy and will last for some time.
Quality, great apperance and a winner!

I was surprised when I found a huge heavy package leaning against my front door and suddenly realized is was my kitchen cart! Glad to have it but forgot about having it in a kd (knocked down) condition in a box. Therein was the challenge! Undaunted I dragged it through the door into my living room, and when I got it flat on the floor proceeded to remove the contents, placing them in an organized manner around the room. Inasmuch as I am a 5'1" 86 year old senior citizen I was facing the challenge of making all these pieces come together to look like the cart I had ordered on line. I found the instructions and followed them explicitly, and allocating a around a few hours each day to the project. After about four afternoons, voila! I had this lovely cart (on casters) standing proudly in my dining room adjacent to my small kitchen! I was very pleased with myself in that there wasn't one screw or piece leftover, and I had done it myself! It is great, the stainless steel top is perfect for my coffee station all set with K cups and 10 cup coffee brewer, plus all the other accoutrements necessary for making coffee. The cupboard doors fit perfectly and I love the fact they are kept closed via small magnets at the top. I fills the bill for me to now be able to have so many items within easy reach that was no longer attainable in my kitchen. The appearance is there, the functionality is there, the quality is there and the price is great! Thanks, and please keep on doing what you're doing. Pros: It is well constructed, convenient size, mobile and just great! Cons: It doesn't come with a mini magic genie who can say "abracadabra" and all the piece fall into place
Wonderful Gift for Small Kitchen

We purchased the kitchen cart with the stainless steel top as a gift for my parents who had just moved into a senior living apartment. They have limited cabinet space in their kitchen and this fits so nicely in their eating area. It is large enough to hold both a large microwave and coffee pot and the coffee cups and supplies are out of sight behind the doors. My husband and I put the cart together in about 1 hour. I like that the cabinet has wheels so my parents can move it if they desire even if we are not there. We were all very pleased with the purchase.

Great size cart and thought the price was fair. A little disappointed with the color, looks to have a red-ish tint rather than a true brown (Espresso). Also, the backing looks to be cheap and the nails are visible up and down the backing of the cart. Because of this, the cabinet doors and drawers need to face out in our kitchen, which does not make this piece the most handy or accessible when trying to cook. Generally pleased, but not overly satisfied.
my pros and cons
Sarah from Indianapolis, IN – Verified Buyer
I'm happy I bought this cart. It is good quality for the price and looks great. The extra storage is wonderful to have and I'm using the top of it for my microwave and coffeemaker. It was not fun putting it together though. Most of the parts were unlabeled and the instructions could have been clearer. The back panel is flimsy and the magnets for the drawers should be stronger. Make sure to slide them as far forward as they will go. But now it's together I'm definitely pleased.
Versatile storage/space saver perfect for a NYC apartment
Chiraayu from New York, NY
I bought this cart for additional kitchen storage and this did not fail me....great storage space and extra counter space makes this a versatile addition to my apartment. I would reccomend this to anyone especially in an apartment in NYC. Pros: Easy assembly, great price, extremely versatile! Cons: The main cabinet doors rely on a magnetic closure which is kind of a pain but not a major issue.
