been sitting in it since I got it. It's not comfortable like a recliner - it's more supportive than soft. However, it helps you maintain a great posture, which is part of the reason I really wanted to try this chair. So, for my uses, I think it is 5 star. If you're not looking for something to sit at all day, every day, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere, like maybe a DX racer chair.
Amazing chair, well worth the money

The Leap is a serious ergonomic chair -- it's got all the bells and whistles you'd expect at this price point, and it looks really nice too. If you're scared of the price tag, I'd recommend taking a look at the Amia. Or heck, just take the leap of faith -- you can't put a price on the health of your back!
WORTH THE INVESTMENT

I spend more time in my office chair than I do my bed! I've been procrastinating for years spending this type of money on an office chair. I've been sitting in it for less than 24 hours, and not only does my back not hurt, I feel like it's being "corrected", if that's possible. I am so happy right now, I believe I will be purchasing another one for my home office.

I bought this chair after reading lots of reviews when I decided to create a serious home office. It's attractive, as ergonomically designed chairs go, and has tons of features (most of which I haven't fully explored yet), but it feels smaller than I anticipated. My husband, who is 6'2'', looks like he might fall out of it when he leans back in it.
Worth the $$$$

I work from home and was using a office depot chair until I decided to invest more into something that I use everyday. The leap has great reviews across the internet and I also happened to check it out in a local store.

I'm at a desk 10 houirs a day and require a comfortable and supportive chair. This chair fills those requirements and at the same time is a very attractive chair. This is a chair I recommend and will purchase again.

Best office chair purchase I have ever made. I previously had a Staples chair and had been experiencing lower back pain. That chair was less than 2 years old. So far, so good with the Steelcase Leap. I have been using it 8+ hours a day for about a month. The chair is adjustable in every way I need it to be and it seems to promote better posture. I am 5'9", 155lbs. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on this purchase much sooner instead of messing around with $100-$200 chairs.
Heck of an Office Chair

I was a little skeptic to spend this much on an office chair, but this one is highly engineered with adjustments for every part of your body that sits in it. I've used it for several hours at a time now and I'm very pleased with the comfort and flexibility. My sore back seems to be much better now that I've started using this chair. This was a good investment.
Comfortable and pretty.

This is where I "live" every day working on computer for attorneys. Comfortable and moves very smoothly on hardwood floors. Easy to assemble and sturdy - no tipping over.

This is my second Leap fabric chair. Chairs are very individual so what works for one, may not suit another. But all things considered, this is a high quality and well built chair. It has many adjustment options which allows it to be customized to suit a wide variety of people.
