Best office chair purchase I have ever made. I previously had a Staples chair and had been experiencing lower back pain. That chair was less than 2 years old. So far, so good with the Steelcase Leap. I have been using it 8+ hours a day for about a month. The chair is adjustable in every way I need it to be and it seems to promote better posture. I am 5'9", 155lbs. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on this purchase much sooner instead of messing around with $100-$200 chairs.
Comfortable and pretty.

This is where I "live" every day working on computer for attorneys. Comfortable and moves very smoothly on hardwood floors. Easy to assemble and sturdy - no tipping over.

I'm at a desk 10 houirs a day and require a comfortable and supportive chair. This chair fills those requirements and at the same time is a very attractive chair. This is a chair I recommend and will purchase again.
WORTH THE INVESTMENT

I spend more time in my office chair than I do my bed! I've been procrastinating for years spending this type of money on an office chair. I've been sitting in it for less than 24 hours, and not only does my back not hurt, I feel like it's being "corrected", if that's possible. I am so happy right now, I believe I will be purchasing another one for my home office.

I bought this chair after reading lots of reviews when I decided to create a serious home office. It's attractive, as ergonomically designed chairs go, and has tons of features (most of which I haven't fully explored yet), but it feels smaller than I anticipated. My husband, who is 6'2'', looks like he might fall out of it when he leans back in it.

been sitting in it since I got it. It's not comfortable like a recliner - it's more supportive than soft. However, it helps you maintain a great posture, which is part of the reason I really wanted to try this chair. So, for my uses, I think it is 5 star. If you're not looking for something to sit at all day, every day, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere, like maybe a DX racer chair.
Amazing chair, well worth the money

The Leap is a serious ergonomic chair -- it's got all the bells and whistles you'd expect at this price point, and it looks really nice too. If you're scared of the price tag, I'd recommend taking a look at the Amia. Or heck, just take the leap of faith -- you can't put a price on the health of your back!

I first got this chair at work due to an office upgrade. After a year of comfort at 50-60 hours a week I hated my chair at home more and mow. So, I bought one myself for home. No, it's not cheap. Yes you get what you pay for.

Very nice quality chair well worth the money
I use it at the dinner table, too.

Good thing for the wheels. The chair is so versatile and addictive that I move it from the computer desk to the dinner table, to the TV room, to the library. That should say it all.
