Very Comfortable Chair from Southern Maryland, USA on 12/17/2015 – Verified Buyer
I've owned the Leap Fabric Office Chair for over a year now. I wanted to test this chair for a while before submitting a review. The chair was delivered timely, and came fully assembled and undamaged. It is very sturdy, with excellent cushioning, and is very comfortable for my upper and lower back. The seat is only about 18" by 20" inches, which might not be comfortable for a taller person. The arms are adjustable and the casters are well made and easily roll on carpet. I can attest to the chair holding up well for individuals weighing under 200 pounds, but I believe it can within more weight. I sit in this chair for hours almost everyday, and am very pleased with this purchase.

Pros: Fully assembled, professional-grade, well made, and quiet
Cons: Seat could be deeper; limited color options; and price point

Comfortable when sitting "correctly". from Boulder, CO on 12/29/2015 – Verified Buyer
I appreciate the option to not buy armrests which I feel like just get in the way when siting at a computer. I don't regret not getting them.

The limited seat padding is my main complaint. I feel like the chair is designed to be comfortable when you sit on it "correctly", with your lower back against the seat back. If you scoot your butt forward, it is not going to be comfortable. However, the chair does have a wide range of positions even when sitting "correctly". My hope was that the chair would encourage me to sit up straight and improve my posture but that hasn't happened yet. (I've had it for a little over a year.)

My other complaint is that the back is not high enough. I wish I had gotten the head rest.

Pros: ergonomic
Cons: not well padded

Worth the $$$$ from TX on 02/12/2015 – Verified Buyer
I work from home and was using a office depot chair until I decided to invest more into something that I use everyday. The leap has great reviews across the internet and I also happened to check it out in a local store.

The chair came with good packaging and was easy to open. There is no assembling required. The back support is great and firm and it provides all sorts of configurable options to control and set it as per the need.

Amazing chair, well worth the money from Cupertino, CA on 06/02/2014 – Verified Buyer
The Leap is a serious ergonomic chair -- it's got all the bells and whistles you'd expect at this price point, and it looks really nice too. If you're scared of the price tag, I'd recommend taking a look at the Amia. Or heck, just take the leap of faith -- you can't put a price on the health of your back!

Great chair! from CRANBERRY TWP, PA on 10/12/2014 – Verified Buyer
Best office chair purchase I have ever made. I previously had a Staples chair and had been experiencing lower back pain. That chair was less than 2 years old. So far, so good with the Steelcase Leap. I have been using it 8+ hours a day for about a month. The chair is adjustable in every way I need it to be and it seems to promote better posture. I am 5'9", 155lbs. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on this purchase much sooner instead of messing around with $100-$200 chairs.

WORTH THE INVESTMENT from Center Moriches, NY on 07/01/2014 – Verified Buyer
I spend more time in my office chair than I do my bed! I've been procrastinating for years spending this type of money on an office chair. I've been sitting in it for less than 24 hours, and not only does my back not hurt, I feel like it's being "corrected", if that's possible. I am so happy right now, I believe I will be purchasing another one for my home office.

pretty sweet from Yorktown, VA on 06/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
been sitting in it since I got it. It's not comfortable like a recliner - it's more supportive than soft. However, it helps you maintain a great posture, which is part of the reason I really wanted to try this chair. So, for my uses, I think it is 5 star. If you're not looking for something to sit at all day, every day, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere, like maybe a DX racer chair.

Work-from-home professional from Saint Petersburg, FL on 06/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
I bought this chair after reading lots of reviews when I decided to create a serious home office. It's attractive, as ergonomically designed chairs go, and has tons of features (most of which I haven't fully explored yet), but it feels smaller than I anticipated. My husband, who is 6'2'', looks like he might fall out of it when he leans back in it.

I'm at a desk 10 houirs a day and require a comfortable and supportive chair. This chair fills those requirements and at the same time is a very attractive chair. This is a chair I recommend and will purchase again.

This is where I "live" every day working on computer for attorneys. Comfortable and moves very smoothly on hardwood floors. Easy to assemble and sturdy - no tipping over.
