Steelcase Amia Mid-Back Upholstered Work Chair
Awesome cheaper version of Leap
Patrick from Cupertino, CA– Verified Buyer
I bought the Leap for my dad before, and the Amia is nearly the same. Great ergonomic features and it just feels nice to sit in. Better than the chair I have in my office, too. If you're interested in the Leap, but want a slightly more affordable version, the Amia is your ticket.

Excellent, confortable, an elegant chair. It was easy to assemble and it blends with my office furniture. I would hightly recomend it to anyone who is looking to buy a home or an office chair.
For people who dislike the Leap/Aeron lumbar support
KA from New York, NY– Verified Buyer
If you find the Leap and Aeron chairs uncomfortable because the lumbar support irritates your spine, the Amia is a better choice because the lumbar support is more subtle. That being said, this chair is very supportive otherwise.

I have used this chair for over two years. Holds up very well and is super comfortable. One of the best office chairs you can buy. Just about everything is adjustable. And it arrives fully assembled--just unpack and sit!
My Gaming chair.

Not as comfortable as I though it would be but I have no problem sitting for hours in it.
So far the chair is serving the purpose for which I purchased

I had the same chair at home that my office ordered for me since I have back and shoulder pains. I like this chair so much that I order one for my home office use.
Ahhhhhh....Love My Amia
Holly from Los Angeles, CA– Verified Buyer
I have become a regular customer of Wayfair for household furnishings. They have never disappointed me, and the most recent purchase has been no exception. I have needed a new desk chair for quite some time, and finally took a day to try out every showroom in town and every ergonomic chair. When I sat in the "Amia," I knew instantly that it was the one--it beat out all the competition. Delivery was punctual, the item was as promised, the upholstery perfect, and I am very very happy. I love this chair and every feature it advertises. If you are in the market, I highly recommend this one by Steelcase, but there are several other in the line that are also excellent. The Steelcase "Leap," for example, is very much like the "Amia," but a little heavier--probably perfect for a man's frame. But finding the right chair really and truly requires the "toosh test." Invest the time and try out all the top competitors--your research will pay off in the 'end.'

[...] the chairs are just as expected
great ergonomic chair, reasonable price
Eebs from Middletown, CT
I work at home as a freelance writer. I could not find a comfortable chair, for more years than I could say. I tried a friend's Leap chair and loved it. But they are expensive. I read reviews & found out that the Amia has most of the features of the Leap chair at a lower price. I'm glad I got this one. There is no assembly. It's so obvious how to adjust, you need nothing extra, no help.
