Steelcase Airtouch™ Adjustable-Height Laminate Worksurface
Minor flaws which renders overall product overpriced

Don't get me wrong, the desk is solid. But in putting the desk together, I noticed some minor flaws which were disappointing considering the price I paid (including shipping to Hawaii). Not all the screw holes in the metal are drilled straight which resulted in my inability to completely screw in all of the screws on the base. Also, in attaching the Soto Cableway, there is not enough clearance between it and the top of the pedestal, resulting in the bottom of the Cableway hitting the top of the pedestal when lowering. I then have to push the Cableway back so that it clears the base and the desk can be lowered. I tried taking it off and reinstalling it three times with the same result. Poor design! No, I am not a professional furniture assembler or an engineer, but then again, I shouldn't have to be. The desktop laminate quality seems kind of cheap. I hope it lasts.
Airtouchâ„¢ Adjustable-Height Laminate Wor

I'm pleased with my adjustable height desk as I have a continuing back problem. This desk permits me to raise or lower the surface, very easily, when i choose to work standing or sitting. I spent at least 8 months searching for such a product and I was ecstatic when I finally located it. The surface width is perfect for me as it ensures that my desk isn't covered in paper!
