Not the most inexpensive ones, but definitely the ones with good quality. The only tiny little complaint I have is that they are a bit slippery on the floor. But not a big deal! That can be fixed!

We were looking for a folding chair that would serve as extra seating during holidays and family events. This is certainly better than the card table chair it replaces.
Attractive, functional for every day use
Romana from Columbia, MD– Verified Buyer
Used as kitchen chairs and as extras in the dining room when needed, these are in constant use. I had a set of 4 for 2 years when the wood split on one near hinge. Chairs seem sturdy so, thinking this was an anomaly, I ordered 2 more. Unfortunately, I could not get the sage color upholstery I had before, but the seat cushions come off easily enough. Be careful ordering as there is a similar model with flat top.
All of Stakmore's chairs and tables are constructed of solid hardwood that has been dried to the proper moisture content for the North American climate. Why should you care about that? Wood used in furniture that has not been dried properly will give off moisture over time, shrinking, creating gaps in joints, cracking and splitting.
After drying, machining and assembling furniture the most visible part of furniture and the critical point that differentiates most furniture in the customers mind is the finish. Stakmore utilizes a multi-step stain, sealer and topcoat process to provide a rich durable finish on all products.
Stakmore takes great pride in being an environmentally friendly company and has been one for decades. For over 30 years Stakmore has utilized all scrap wood waste and sawdust as fuel to heat their factory and dry the lumber used. In addition Stakmore helps area cabinet shops avoid adding to the landfill by taking their excess wood waste, grinding it up and burning it for fuel. By utilizing 100% of the lumber purchased they reduce their need for fossil fuels.
Even the purchase of lumber takes into consideration renewability. All lumber used comes from managed, sustainable forests. Following managed forestry practices ensures that future generations will have forests and that animals will still have homes.
