Great little desk quality and for the money and a desk for our home office.
Perfect for childs first desk

Solid, with nice features. Somewhat difficult to assemble. Only negative: two dents, on on desk top and the other in a side panel. We kept it anyway, and our granddaughter loves it.
Great for a smaller space

The little desk works great in a smaller space. It wasn't a bad assembly project and it's pretty sturdy with lots of extra storage.
Functional and fabulous

This is a great desk for my 10-year old son. He loves the black color and the shelf. Keeps things organized....well as organized as a fifth-grade boy can be.

I did receive and am very happy with this desk. It is working out very well for me. The size and the quality are both wonderful and exaxtly what I was expecting.

The Zen of Assembly

I purchased this desk (in white) after searching for exactly what I wanted. It was by far the least expensive desk that had a hutch, a drawer, and a couple of shelves with a keyboard tray. Of course it's not fine wood, it's compound with that white covering I remember so well from most of my college furniture a gazillion years ago, but it was what I expected. Now, as to assembly. They say you need two people to build it. I am a 62, out of shape female and had absolutely no problem putting it together on my own. At one point, I wasn't sure about something, so I called the company, got a quick, complete answer from a human being. I left myself plenty of time, took breaks, walked my dog, etc. So I really couldn't tell you how long it took. Leave yourself plenty of floor space, because the instructions have you lay out each piece and insert hardware before you put things together. The way the steps are done, you really can stop at any point. I advise getting the cat and dog out of the room before you start. Now that it's together and functioning, it's exactly what I wanted. Though I am not tall, I truly don't understand why everyone thinks this is a kids' desk. It's perfect for a bill-paying, computer using home office adult. It's exactly what I wanted.
not too bad

We bought the desk in chocolate. I thought it would be a normal brown tone but, Its actually a very dark espresso, nice though. It took my husband and I about 1 12 to assemble. The paper laminate on the drawer is already ruined, you have to place the pieces down slowly during assembly. This desk is for my 9yr old and for the price, I didn't not expect nothing more. So all in all, this is a great desk for the price.

We like everything about this desk. Its heavier than we anticipated which means it is sturdier than we expected. The assembly wasn't bad at all. The keyboard table and draw slide out smoothly. We've moved it around the house and had to tighten up the assembly, but it went right back to being sturdy.
Happy with desk!

We're happy with the desk. My husband put it together and there were some leftover parts. You get what you pay for and we like it!
