Reader Pocket Edition features a 5" touch screen with 800 x 600 pixels, six adjustable font sizes, and 16-level gray scale. 2GB of onboard memory lets you carry up to 1,200 of your favorite books at a time. Transfer eBooks and charge your digital book using a single USB 2.0 cable. E Ink Pearl technology on its antiglare touchscreen delivers a paper-like display that's more like ink on paper and fully readable in direct sunlight. Intuitive Reader Library software works with both PCs and Macs. Digital book supports multiple formats including PDF, MS Word, and ePub open format. Single battery charge lasts 14 days or 7,500 continuous page turns. Recharging time is 3 hours with a USB connection or about 2 hours by an AC adapter (not included). Digital book operates a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (DC 3.7 V).
