We were looking for a Wingback bed for our teenager's room, but never thought we could afford one. Until.. we found one here at All Modern! This bed is gorgeous! The tufted back looks VERY expensive & CHIC! The material reminds me of a soft plush velour, we were daring & purchased it in white. Yes it is a true bright white! My husband & I are very adept at putting things together & honestly with 2 people working very efficiently, it takes about 2 12 hours (using standard) type tools to put together. We purchased a FULL size bed low profile box spring. In other reviews people complained about the frame not being able to support the aforementioned. The frame is very well made & sturdy & both pieces are very secure. Please remember, you really do need to purchase a low profile box spring for this bed. As some have mentioned, the headboard doesn't go all the way to the floor & so there is a bit of a gap. However, it's only a few inches & if it bothers you, stand your pillows up and it covers the gap. It would probably be a good idea to add a few decorative pillows to round out the look. Everyone who has seen this bed says it's just FANTASTIC! We couldn't be HAPPIER!!

This bed came in super fast which I was thrilled to get started. I read the reviews and was determined to put it together with no problems. Well, that did not happen. Overall, its fine but nothing is labeled and the directions were not very thorough. The great thing is that they provide a number to call and they were very nice and helpful. I think the frame is very sturdy. I have a heavy king tempurpedic and it seems fine. I feel like the headboard moves a little more than I would like but that could be my skills in putting the bed together which I did by myself. The fabric is soft. I purchased buckwheat and its pretty light. more like a cream or ivory. I am very happy with this purchase and my new bedroom.

This bed is beautiful! I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this. I gave it 4 stars because the headboard came first, confusing me as to what I purchased. Thinking the whole set was with this first shipment, I took my whole room/ bed apart to accommodate the new frame and headboard. Long story short, I ended up having to use my old frame to put the new headboard on. Then about a week later the rest of the bed came (remind you by this point I had accepted that I just purchased the headboard, which I was ok with), So when I received the rest of the set I was shocked. Not to mention the side & end rails with hardware are very heavy. I had to undo everything all over again (this was a hassle since I have a sleep number bed, not a regular mattress, so it was more labor intensive). All in all, once everything was done, I ams till very happy with the purchase. Pros: The look Cons: That all the components came in multiple shipments, so assembly was not as smooth as it should have been

This bed is fantastic! It was a little hard to put together but only took about 2 hours with my husband and me. I was concerned about the gap that was mentioned in previous reviews so when I emailed asking them about it, I got the response was all the other box springsmattresses didn't fit properly. There is a small vertical gap between the mattress and the bottom of the headboard. My box spring is almost 8 inches tall and my mattress is almost 10 inches tall. The box spring comes up just over the foot rails. But when the pillows are on the bed you can't notice the gap and it doesn't take away from the overall look of the bed. I have recommended this bed to all my friends looking for a new bed! It's chic and very soft that still has a modern yet classic look to it. It's absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful and wonderful to the touch!

This is the most amazing bed I've ever had. I got the wingback in white velvet and it could not be more chic! The headboard is very large without taking up a lot of precious bedroom space as it is flat in the back (not curved back). The wings on the side make such a bold statement, and the velvet could not be more soft. It seems to be very very sturdy, with great hardware. Everything about the bed is so beautiful - it looks the same as pictured. I know some of the other reviews had mentioned there being a gap between the bottom of the headboard and the top of the mattress. I have a very miniscule gap, but my mattress is also on the thinner end (8 inches). Pillow and such cover that for the most part. I really don't think it's an issue. Assembly was not the easiest. There were no instructions whatsoever for the wings, and unless we did it incorrectly, there were no hardware pieces for the wings either. We ended up cannibalizing some of the other screws and such to put the wings in place. Pros: Very chic, soft, large statement piece Cons: Somewhat difficult to assemble, NO instructions or hardware for the wings.

Now that it's assembled and installed, we love it but husband (who has grad. degree in engineering) had a fit putting it together. Poor design and worse instructions and although I'd love another one for guest room, I am not going to ask him for it. Velvet is very soft and more of a pale golden color than the beige I was expecting. You will need big bedside lamps in order to read in bed because wings block the light a bit.
Missing Hardware & Instructions-took month to ship
Dana from Chicago
We placed our very first order on wayfair.com for this complete Bed (frame and headboard). This was not a small purchase (over $600) and when it arrived all of the instructions were missing and so was most of the hardware. We had already gotten rid of our bed and I notified wayfair that it was urgent we receive the missing parts. After waiting weeks we finally went to the hardware store and had to purchase all of the missing bolts, washers and hodgepodge the bed together ourselves so we'd have somewhere to sleep. Over a month later the missing hardware and instructions have JUST shipped. I am beyond disappointed with my first and only purchase from wayfair. We like to recommend good websites to friends and family. Unfortunately, you just didn't take care of us and we won't be recommending wayfair to anyone going forward
beautiful and sturdy

I ordered this wingback bed in aubergine (purple) / queen size and its really a show stopper in any bedroom. The frame is easy to put together - I've put it together alone and taken it apart alone but I would recommend getting at least 1 person to help since the headboard is quite large and some of the pieces are hard to maneuver by yourself. I'd recommend putting some rubber padding (rubber carpet padding) underneath the center support leg of the frame so it doesn't get bent out of shape if the bed gets moved around. The fabric is gorgeous and the purple is a deep color, not tacky. No issues with cleaning it, just use a lint roller every few weeks if your bedroom gets dusty. The only complaint I have is that the underbed clearance is low so I could hardly make use of the storage space.

I have been searching for a bed for months but didn't want to settle...and I didnt... I lI've the "pool" blue colour I chose. It really finishes my bedroom. The only thing I would like to see added is another set of brackets for the bottom of the side/end boards. This provided for the top pull those edges together nicely. Would be great to have a tight meeting of the bottom edges as well. Overall, I really pleasedon't with my final decision. And what can I say...it's "Made in the USA"!!
Just OK - you get what you pay for

Based on the reviews, I was really hoping this bed would be spectacular. It is just OK - the buckwheat color (as noted from other reviews) is really more of an ivory. I was not expecting that at all - I was hoping for something darker as shown in the images on the site. The fabric is microfiber, and it does look and feel a bit on the cheap side. It isn't to the caliber of a high qualityexpensive bed. The light fabric also gives a dirty look when it is not smoothed out. Having said that, the headboard tuffet treatment is done well, and the wings on the sides attach nicely. As mentioned by others, some of the footboard panels don't line up exactly - not a big deal as bedding should cover it. This bed came in pieces so it's a bit of a surprise on delivery to see such small boxes, but it was NOT difficult to put together at all and the bed frame is very solid. Overall, this is just average. I'm disappointed in the quality and color of the fabric, especially considering that the entire look of these beds is about the fabric, but I also didn't want to pay 2x more, so this is a case of truly getting what you pay for.
