Nice but a few flaws
jen from cumming, GA– Verified Buyer
Overall we are happy with this desk but there were a few flaws. Not all of the pieces were labeled, so the assembly was harder than it should have been. Also, this desk is designed to go up against a wall, and so some pieces are unfinished. I wanted this to sit in the middle of the room, so we actually have to paint some of it. The manufacturer should really make all sides finished so that you have more flexibility in terms of placement.
nice size but beware

This is the perfect size for a space challenged bedroom. It's nice looking and good quality, but it was not easy to assemble. Comes in a flat box, so expect to use up your time and patience. All parts were there and lined up as they should.
Great Desk with Only a Few Flaws

It took about two and a half hours to assemble this desk, but in the end it was worth it. Really love the finish and overall sturdiness.
Works for what we need

This is a nice piece for the price. It works for what we need, and blends with our dark cabinets in the same room. It is particle board, but I think it feels pretty sturdy. A little time consuming to put together per my husband.
Great little desk

We have used several of these desks in our office. They come in a flat box and you need a lot of patience to put them together, but they function well for light use in our space. Would recommend
Shoal Creek Desk

I ordered this for my Grandson (8) and after it came I realized it was almost identical in looks to one his sister got about 6 months ago. the difference is we did not have to add any reinforcements to the Shoal Creek model to feel safe about it. The instructions are clear and anyone that has a lick of ability putting a Lego set together can do this, simple-simple...screw driver and rubber mallet and all went well in about 30 minutes; mainly due to the fact that the material is heavy and I put it together on the living room floor(carpet). Good desk for the money, would recommend to anyone for kids room or for smaller spaces as a computer desk.

This looks great and I am glad we found all matching things to complete a bedroom. We did run into a problem where the instructions were confusing and we were missing a peice, but the manufacturer replaced and shipped at no cost.
right for the price

the quality of the material is soft, the table top is very easy to scratch.
Nice with Sauder Bookcase

I purchased this to match a bookcase that I'd purchased some time ago. It's heavy and rich-looking. Because of its weight, it may be easier to assemble with two people.

I really like my new desk. Assembly was pretty much straightforward though the instructions could have been better explained and only half of the parts were marked andor shown on the inventory list. If you've put together this type of furniture before, you've already got an idea of how it all works. All the holes lined up very well, parts were all there. I only needed to adjust the drawer fronts a little and it all went smoothly.
