Sewing room in a closet!
Alex from Toronto, ON – Verified Buyer
I am very disorganized. I hate to spend time putting things away, especially if I know I'll need to take it out soon anyway. So when I got into sewing, my sewing stuff was all over the room. Now that I have this armoire, it's much easier. I work on the foldout table; when I finish, I just push everything onto the part that stays horizontal. My serger remains on the table, I can even leave fabric half-serged. Fold down the leaflet, push in the horizontal side (with all the stuff on it) and close the doors. And I can have guests over without them seeing any of the mess. I love the adjustable shelves, and lots of storage room. It needs a little strategy though: once the table is out, if you're sewing on one side, you would need to walk around the table to reach the other shelves. So, anything you want immediately within reach should be strategically placed. I've also done some customization. I glued some Velcro on the doors, and added a fabric loop that holds scissors, a pin cushion, and pockets for other random things, like chalk pencils and tweezers for the serger. So now I just open the armoire and start to serge, and have everything I need easily accessible. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure that anything that's put on the door below the tabletop level is small enough to fit when the door is closed. The table is large enough for comfortable sewing, but (especially since I don't want to move my serger) not large enough to do things like trace patters. For that I bought a foldable craft table. So now I can turn my whole room into a sewing room in minutes, and comfortably sew. And then in a few minutes I can fold and hide everything away, and I have the whole room for other things. I've had the armoire for about a month now, and I've used it heavily. I absolutely love it!
The perfect choice

This cabinet is perfect for my needs, I wanted somewhere I could have a work area that wasn't my dining table but that I could put projects out of sight when needed and this fits the bill. I was easy to put together and the quality is really good. I use if for sewing projects, even holds my sewing machine on the lower shelf inside when I don't need it. Plenty of storage space for needles tread and even paperwork for when I have that to do as well. Would certainly recommend to those who are crafters or need an office space that can be discreetly disguised when necessary.

This piece of furniture is by far the greatest thing I have in my house! I love this! I use it for all my beading supplies, the table pulls out to work on, plenty of storage space, and easy to assemble. I recommend this to anyone who does any kind of craft work, art work, or office work. This is just one great life saving cabinet for a tiny little house that I have. Highly recommend!
Harbor View Armoire

The color is far from white and definitely not antique white. It is beige. If you are looking to match white or cottage white furniture, this will not match. I wanted to match my home theme of white shutters like my doors and windows and could not accept the beige and will be painting this armoire white. It is however a very nice and useful piece of furniture which helps me with using it as a desk with my laptop and for sewing with a place to store my sewing machine. The price is high for not getting what you really want and the picture is deceptive.
I love this armoire!

This is a great product! The assembly instruction is very easy to follow and is not confusing. The product is very sturdy and lots of storage. It's a very well-thought-of armoire. Really great craftsmanship. I was looking for a perfect storage solution for my crafts room and I must say this product fit perfectly. The slide-out table is very functional and can be tucked away when not needed. It even has a built-in outlet for my sewing machine. I love this armoire! And with Wayfair's great price, it's worth it!

Great Sewing Cabinet
Janet Isidore from Denver, CO
This is a great solution for anyone with a multi-purpose space who needs to hide their sewing or craft at times. It is press-board, not solid wood, but higher quality than Ikea type furniture (on par with Bush furniture). Everything went together perfectly and if feels very sturdy. One tip on putting together... you will want to put the slide out shelf on the bottom on the lowest possible spot if you want to fit a sewing machine down there.
Harbor View Craft Armoire

This craft armoire functions perfectly, it's a great item for space saving. The only thing is the color, it doesn't match the picture or the description of antique white. It's more of a beige, like a peach-y beige. Other than that, it's perfect!

I am happy with the service from your company. I also like how everything arrived in good condition with all the parts. The armoire wasn't damaged. I love reading the reviews on things on your site, which has helped me with my purchases. The armoire is a good value for the price.
