Worth the money

This product met most expectations except how easily the surface chipped. You should invest in a desktop protective surface like acrylic or other material but needs to be transparent to show off the beauty of the piece.

This was one of the least expensive desks I could find from multiple different websites, that had drawers included. This came with so many pieces! It took about 2 hours to put together. It wasn't difficult at all, it was just a lot of steps. This is not a piece I would recommend skipping any page of the instruction booklet. Follow it to a T, like you're supposed to, and you'll be fine. It's a little smaller than I expected but that's my own fault as the measurements are listed. It looks nice and if you want to change out the drawer pulls, it could really elevate the look. I would recommend this desk. It was $199, come on!!
Very low quailty, disappointing

I ordered this desk because of the low price, and I knew that it was particle board, which I usually avoid, but I really thought it would be okay since it is a Sauder desk. Having spent several hours struggling to build it (it is heavy, yet delicate because of the cheap particle board), it is finally together and, unfortunately, the top drawer doesn't open and close without a fight and the bottom drawer is slightly off kilter. I have a lot of experience putting "assembly required" furniture together and this desk, considering the time needed to assemble it, and the final product, is not even worth $50.

Assembly is a major project. Three hours is a dream. It went together well. Lots of screws. Carefully read and follow the directions. In a quandry, a phone call to Sauder will do the trick. They were very helpful the one time I was confused. The veneer is paper thin but I think it will wear ok. It should last as long as I do as I am 90. This is a beautiful desk. The drawers work perfectly. The size is perfect for my lap top and modest personal business matters. The packing and design are impressive.
Great for my needs!

I recently began working remote from home and needed a desk for a small space. This fits a dual monitor and docking station perfectly. My boyfriend ended up putting the desk together and he was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it came together. We have had experiences where pieces are either warped or incorrect which made building the furniture rather frustrating. Perfect for a small workstation.

Looks and feels like a much more expensive desk. The only con I can think of is the back of the desk is unfinished, so it will only work if you place it against a wall, which is what we had planned for anyway,
Great Desk, Easy Assembly

This desk was exactly what I was looking for. The desktop is large enough to store both my 27-in monitor and the laptop it's attached to with room to spare. The front of the center drawer folds down and the whole drawer slides out for easy storage and use of a keyboard and mouse. The only drawback to this desk is that I might have preferred a third drawer on the right side inside of an open shelf.
Great product, matches the descroiption, great customer service

The desk is exactly how it looks in the picture. Very classy, easy to install. I had a Staples desk before and wanted to try this site for furniture and I am pleased I tried it. One piece came broken, we called customer service and they very quickly shipped the exact piece again. Wonderful customer service. I have now become a Wayfair first customer and my friends who have used it following our suggestions have been pleasantly pleased with their products. Way to go!
Worth the investment (especially if it's on sale).

If you're looking for a simple desk for a home office, etc. and don't want to spend TOO much money (but still expect decent quality), choose this one. It is simple, sturdy, and relatively easy to assemble. It arrived intact and well prepared for shipping. My husband was able to piece it together in about an hour and a half. It looks good, but as other reviewers suggest, it may scratch easily. It is obviously not real wood, but I feel I'm getting what I paid for.

I wanted a desk that was functional and yet not too overwhelming size wise. It is a very attractive piece of furniture that fits nicely in a relatively small area. I am far from being handy with tools so it took me a few hours to put it together. It was time consuming but not difficult. I would recommend this desk to anyone who wants a nice-looking but relatively small desk.
