Safco Products Height Adjustable Drafting Chair with Swivel

Seat is really hard and uncomfortable. I got it because it was a slim drafting chair and I was limited on space. After sitting in it for couple of days, I noticed my bottom being sore as it is kind of a hard seat. It barely has any cushion to it. The back of my can feel the hardness of the seat after a few hours. I wish I can return it.

Great delivery and good product. Assembles very easily, is sturdy. Time will tell on the cushions--how well they retain their form. Got one for the doorman for our building to use in the lobby; works well there, too.

I have used the chair for a couple of months on a daily basis and find it to be quite comfortable, with good back support, especially for the price point. The gray color is very nice. However, if you want to use the arms, I would recommend a different chair. I just purchased the arms because I was experiencing shoulder/upper back pain typing with no arm support. The arm kit arrived yesterday and I put them on, only to realize how ridiculously high they are--lowest height is inexplicably 12.5" (from where the arm attaches to the underside of the seat). This is definitely higher than would be comfortable for most people. For this reason, I've had to purchase a different chair with standard-height, adjustable arms (8.5" to 10.5"). If you are planning to purchase a chair with arms, or might purchase the arms for this chair at some point in the future, I would not recommend this chair.

Money-wise, Wayfair had the best price on the internet. Had to replace a cheap Target chair only a year old that went kablooey. This chair is sturdy enough to last a lifetime. No comparison to its flimsy predecessor, its a Cadillac! I use it in my officeart studio and roll happily from desk to easel on a tile floor. Nice, smooth casters. The footrest is perfect for my purposes (leaning over an easel and palette for hours). The cushioning and backrest are so comfy, you actually work longer without fatigue. I hesitated on this splurge because money is tight, but it was a great investment that has made my life more comfortable and productive. Excellent quality, couldnt be happier. Dont waste money on a cheap chair.

GOOD CHAIR. JUST NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS MY OLD ONE.

This chair is perfect for our needs. I put them in our map room, and the height adjustment is great should you need to sit higher to view maps on the drafting table. They also look very nice and are sturdy for the office. Thank you!

The chair is very comfortable although a little pricey compared to regular office chairs. Selling the arms separately also didn't make me happy but we thought the chair would be more functional and comfortable with them, it is. Seemless purchase from Wayfair though. The chair back is springy and adjustable which is a nice feature.
