Really great podium for my classroom! from Newport, NH on 05/26/2015 – Verified Buyer
This was very easy to assemble and took about 30 minutes. The podium moves very easy and is well-built. The side table is sturdy enough to support either my projector or my mouse. This is just the perfect podium for me and I am very satisfied with the purchase! Pros: Sturdy, Easy to assemble, moves around great. Cons: The wheel locks could be better designed. They don't completely stop the podium from moving but this is very minor.

Good podium for the money from Minneapolis, MN on 10/02/2008 – Verified Buyer
A quality product for the money, especially with how expensive other types of podiums are. Yes, this is laminated particle board, but the finish is durable and attractive and the overall product is sturdy. The sliding side shelf is convenient for setting water glasses, video projectors, or flowers. One problem is that the middle shelf is moveable and not securely attached so several people have accidentally knocked it down. Also, it is a bit tippy and top heavy when you try to roll it on carpet. We use it in our office's assembly space when we have speakers. We had to attached a microphone mount. One problem is there's no easy way to drill through the top slanted shelf to get the cable through. We just lay it to the side.

Highly Disappointed/Poor Quality/Service from Torrance, CA on 11/01/2011
Our school told me they will NEVER purchase another item from your company. After 3 return attempts, they have given up and even though the item still has a flaw (one of the panels on the Lectern) they are calling it quits. The first return was a damaged panel, another problem with the next return, and the 3rd return looked to be a resend of the original panel that was damaged. Our 5th graders raised A LOT of money to leave the school a legacy gift and this product was not only defective, but cost the school unnecessary time wasted on trying to get the issue resolved.

Gets the job done from Alabama on 11/12/2006
Layout, dimensions, and features are nice. Good working room. Easy to assemble. The materials are MDF with laminate faux wood finish. I suppose it is as durable as MDF gets but is still far less solid than real wood. I put it in a public school 6th grade classroom. As long as the kids stay off of it, I believe it will last long enough. Real wood with the same features was over $1000 and I didn't have time to build my own. This was an acceptable alternative.
