SKB 12U Pop - Up Rack in Black
Nice pop up mixer case
Midnight Blue band from Buffalo,NY
My wife got me this SKB unit as I needed a rack case for a powered mixer that was at least eleven rack spaces tall. This is a very nice case and came with a bag of rackmount screws and clips. The powered mixer is very heavy so hope it holds up.There were no instructions how to use the tricky tilt bars on each side but I finally figured out that to drop the unit flush, you have to pull it all the way up and really hang on to the center web grip loop when letting it down.A cool trick is to place a non-slip mesh drawer liner under it when placing on a table a a gig as it is very slippery on smooth surfaces. The price was the best anywhere [...]
This review has nothing to do with Wayfair
booboo from Rockland, Ma
I bought a newer version of my product at another store and it broke in 1 week, I was still able to use it with a bit of maneuvering. Then 6 Mos later the metal seam cracked and I couldn't close the cover properly. I bought a replacement here, the older, less expensive version, so if it breaks it's not as expensive as the last one. It has nothing to do with the stores I bought them in, I just think SKB products are not the best. NOW, the reason I bought another is because I cannot find the same product in a different brand.
In 1977, the first SKB case was manufactured in a small Anaheim, California garage. Today SKB engineers cases for hundreds of companies involved in many diverse industries. SKB has entered the new millennium with a true sense of accomplishment for the 2+ decades of steady growth and for their adherence to quality standards that make them industry leaders.
