The front drawer opens up and to my surprise the drawer has a latch which allows the front veneer to open down in order to manage the silverware in a better way. The quality is good and the measurements were exactly as stated in the website. The only thing that was different and I was a bit dissapointed about it was the disstressed finish in the picture was much more than the one that was delivered to me.
