Raxxess Config-u-raxx System 5

Like the 5 Stars says, it doesn't get any better (especially for the value). This is a whole lot of desk and rack space for the price. The adjustable shelving and keyboard shelf are priceless and were a big draw for me when selecting this desk. After reaching the point of needing more rack space, upgrading from a Studio RTA desk, I was about to purchase a Raxxess stand alone Rack system until I saw this complete desk set-up. I was very impressed and can attest, it fulfilled all my hopes and optimism I had for it.I'm using this desk for a project music studio that is all software based with no large console or mixing board. If those aren't a necessity, I can't imagine a better desk layout. I'm using the center desk space for a keyboard. It works out perfect.I had just recently purchased numerous office desk and furniture of varying styles and qualities when I got this one. This desk stunned me as impressive if not more more impressive than any I had just worked on (including some furniture in the $3k range).I got the large 56" wide center desk but carefully looked over the total width of before buying. It is a large setup finishing at about 110" wide. Make sure to prepare the floor-plan for how big this set-up is. Even the smaller center desk will make a pretty large desk. The desk also might appear somewhat "lightweight", but it's due to the sleek contemporary style, but I assure you, it is a very heavy-duty desk. It's solid as a tank.The desk is very stunning looking in both quality and style. It get's constant compliments and frankly is just nice to look at. I got the maple /grey finish with the Steel side panels on the rack sides. I would recommend looking into the steel sides as they are thoughtfully vented well with slotted vent holes. While the wood would look nice, I think the steel might hold up best over many years and as I mentioned, the vents are priceless if you're racking some hot gear.In summary, this is my first Raxxess purchase and I was completely impressed. This is a really nice set of studio furniture that makes an excellent Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) or video editing bay. There is plenty of desk space, especially if you buy the bridges that are made for the system. [...] I have two in my professional studio, as well as one in my home studio, and will likely add another one later this year. Great product!
