Platt travel tool case

This is a sturdy tool case for traveling. The TSA style lock with the half turn latches make for a secure case that will stay closed for air travel. The pallets that are included, don't do me much good. I have too many things that do not fit in the pockets, so I lay a removable tool bag inside. My socket set and PPE,s fit in also. The tool case has two sections beside the handle that gives small items a place to stay without loosing them. The lid has a document pocket area, but I have put two small compartment containers there instead. I am going to purchase more of these Platt cases.

I am replacing a Platte tool case that I have been traveling with on a weekly basis for 11 years now. The new toolbox is smaller, so I had to revise my tool inventory. On the other hand, the TSA lock built into it is great! The extra handles are quite helpful as well.

Good case. 8 lbs lighter than my guardsman. Slighly smaller interior room. When standing, it sits on the wheels and two plastic bumps which I imagine will wear out quickly without added protection.

The third generation of the Platt family, in Chicago, continues leading the industry forward as their father and grandfather did before them, when they made leather luggage. The materials used now reflect our age of portability and efficiency. The cases are made to last, to be secure, to be shippable and to fit a multitude of individual needs.
