Over the years, Penn Metal's product lines broadened to include lockers, shelving and even aircraft landing mats. A reputation for quality fabrication spread, and the company's influence became nationwide. In the 1950's, the name was shortened to Penco Products and the plant and offices were expanded to a modern facility in Oaks, Pennsylvania, near Valley Forge, PA.
Penco became a subsidiary of Vesper Corporation in 1979 and continued to grow. In 1994 the company added a manufacturing plant in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2001, the East coast manufacturing facilities were moved from Oaks to a 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Hamilton, North Carolina, allowing significant room for expansion. The corporate headquarters remains in Pennsylvania.
The need for storage products is universal, and Penco's markets span the spectrum of industrial, service, governmental and institutional organizations. Shelving and pallet rack products are popular with warehousing and manufacturing applications, ranging from a few units to multi-level installations. Lockers are widely used in educational facilities, fitness centers, health care, commercial and industrial locations. Other products such as storage cabinets, work benches and shop furniture are used wherever material gets shipped, received or stored.
Penco's mission is to provide customers with value in the form of the finest storage products available.

I ordered a KD Stadium Locker to house my extensive collection of STL Cardinal's memorabilia. It proved to be up to the task and more. Reasonably priced and vastly larger than most equivalent products, the locker arrived on time and I was notified of every step in its production and delivery by the good folks at Wayfair. It is sturdy and well produced. I'd certainly buy another if I ever had the need.
Terrible logistics. Assembly nightmare.

Placed order in early August. Item didn't arrive until October. Wayfair did have the lowest price I found anywhere by a couple hundred bucks. I just had to wait two months for it to show up. It was delivered by a 3rd party carrier and marked inspect for damage upon delivery. If anything is damaged in transit you cannot return it once the carrier leaves your home. So you basically have to open every box onsite while the delivery driver is at your home and inspect it for damage. No one with a job, family, or life has time to do that. When I finally got around to opening and inspecting the unassembled item it had the wrong set of instructions for an entirely different model. I had to go to the manufacturers website and print out the correct ones. When I was 3/4 done with the assembly and several hundred swear words later, I realized the bottom support frame was severely bent. Most likely damaged in shipping. Something you wouldn't notice unless you were trying to assemble it. I was luckily able to hammer out the bend but it took a lot of effort and convincing for the "heavy duty" metal to correct itself. Customer service and logistics is everything. I would have rather spent a couple hundred more for timely shipping and less headache. I would not recommend buying anything from Wayfair. Guarantee your items and guarantee your delivery.
Great addition to my organization

We purchased 5 of these lockers to organize our garage. They are great! They look nice. Each member of my family has a place to put their coats, backpacks, shoes, hats, gloves...all in their individual locker. The directions sent with the lockers were not for the model we ordered (open storage), however I simply went to the website and downloaded the correct directions. As usual with DIY projects, the directions could have been made clearer. (EI:It would have helped to know that not all the holes are used for the particular model we purchased.)The first locker took a while to put together, but once we did one, the rest were very easy. My husband and I used nut drivers to put them together. The little number plates came with rivets to attached them. I went to the hardware store and bought some small nuts and bolts to attached them instead. Overall, we are very pleased with these lockers. Sturdy for our purposes. Lots of compliments on them!

The locker has met all of my expectations. It is a great quality I will say it was on the expensive side but it is working well for what I need it to. The assembly was a little difficult I had received the incorrect instructions but I was able to get the correct instructions very quickly.

The right instructions weren't included with the packing but customer service referred us to the website for the correct ones. Relatively easy to assembled. So far so good!
