I wanted something between a kitchen chair and one I could get higher like a bar stool as well. It's comfortible and does the trick. Its very hard to find an in-between chair-----so I'm very happy!! Only problem is I assumed the advertised height of 27.5" but it is 26.5" and when I sit on it (all 190 lbs) it drops to 25". A bit low for my desk but fortunately that is adjustable. It would be nice to be able to adjust the angle of the back without changing the angle of the seat. Also, the footring could be larger. As it is, you must bend your knees to rest your feet on the ring. Your knees should be at a 90 degree angle. Was this helpful? Yes / No
