taomander from New York, NY	4.0 9/22/2011 does what it is supposed to Prior to purchasing, I read a blog comment that indicated, "since I am a male, I leave the tilt adjustment loose." Tightening it makes the chair stiff and uncomfortable for me. Leaving it loose, makes the chair very comfortable for short periods. I stand up to stretch probably once per hour. I have Sciatica, which is why I purchased the chair in the first place, and I am pleased, so far. I have only owned the chair for a few weeks. Was this helpful? Yes / No
