Sturdy and Roomy
Erika from Northern California
Wayfair provided me with the opportunity to review one of their products in exchange for keeping the chosen item. I chose this shelf. It's used mainly to store my books. I'm pleased with how roomy it is, despite being a bit on the narrow side (which I wanted). The shelves are tall and wide and can easily fit hardcovers as well as trade or mass market size books. The MDF construction material was a concern, but has held up surprisingly well. It is sturdy and has a reassuring weight that prevents it from wobbling terribly. So far I have not experienced any bowing or buckling. [...] It does not have adjustable shelves like the produce description says. At least there are no pre-drilled holes that would allow the individual shelves to be moved up or down from the slots shown in the product photograph.I did not purchase it for the adjustable shelves, but that is something to consider if others are interested in this product for that purpose.Assembly took longer than an hour—certain construction steps required more finesse than I first realized and had to be taken apart and re-assembled. This was not a large issue, just a timely one.
Just what I wanted

I ordered 2 of these. One was slightly damaged but I was able to hide it in the way I placed it in the room. I like cheap furniture that serves the purpost and I know Wayfair has a "way fair" return policy. Just didn't wanna bother with all that.
Looks good, poor assembly design

the pieces don't line up the way they should, so sliding in the backing was impossible until I took a rubber mallet to the joints and forced them. It looks good though.
