The three-wheel T-shaped design is good in that it allows the table to be positioned nearer to your chair or sofa. It will work best at the end of a sofa, with the 90 degree angle of the "T" flush with the two sides of the sofa, and it is reversible so it can be used on either end (but if you are right handed it will probably work best on the right side of the sofa if you use a separate mouse on the lower table). It is, however, slightly less stable, particularly when moving from one location to another. I probably have this table overloaded, as it is currently holding a large laptop, a second keyboard, a small photo printer, a multi-card reader, a trackball mouse, and an ice cold soda, but it works well for all of these. Due to this high weight, it has a slight problem maintaining the angle of the desktops using the friction clamps provided, but they adjust easy and are easy to tighten. So far, they haven't needed tightening for several weeks. The only problem during assembly were these same friction clamps, as they could use slightly more thread on them to allow the clamps to be more loose during installation of the top. Also, note that the two tables are welded to the main post and cannot be adjusted independent of one another, but this doesn't seem to be a problem, as the offset works well for your hand on a mouse on the lower tabletop.
Don't buy unless you like doing handywork

I would like to give it zero stars but this review page requires at least one. The stand is, by design, completely incapable of holding the two platforms in position. It dumped my laptop on the ground, twice (my own fault for trusting it the second time) . All four of the cheap plastic mounts broke within the first two weeks. Very bad design! I had to completely redesign and retrofit the mounts with several trips to the hardware store. Even cursory testing would have revealed these design flaws. I probably should have just returned it but I threw away the packaging assuming it wasn't total junk.

The only downfall is that it only goes so high..it needs. A better range of height for taller people so they wont get a hunch in their back..other than that a five star

Overall like the stand. The tops won't remain stable though. Have to keep tightening

love the look..it it sturdy....EXCEPT the desk hardware park is plastic & cannot get it tight enough...it has rolled backwards several times & dumped my laptop...

Love the new desk, but a little disappointed that the individual tables were not height adjustable, just angle separately. I may have misunderstood or misread but the stand is great and being mobile is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put together and looks great.

It has been ok, The covenience is nice and it is a space saver. The corner was a bit deformed and I feel it should been packed better.

I don't know how it might be achieved, but it would be great if it had better stability when raised to its maximum height. Otherwise, it is every bit as solid and nice-looking as it appears in the picture.
A little disappointed

For what it cost vs other similar products it should not have been missing a bolt and not covered in rust. its alright once assembled.
Does the job but must be carefull

Using for laptop access from bed. It's 'wobbly' where the top section slides onto the stand and caused my laptop to hit the floor and break a USB port. Doesn't roll well or at all on carpet. Even with the hort axis tightened the tables still will move. [...]Pick it up to move it around, be careful to support tables while moving or the wobble and moving tables will drop your laptop on floor [...]
