Great quality for the price from Minneapolis, MN on 05/05/2014 – Verified Buyer
The price was right on this bed frame. At the same time we were a little concerned that the quality wouldn't be that great. We were pleasantly surprised. It was easily put together by one person. Once we had the frame in place with the mattress on it it was extremely stable and solid. It makes zero noise when you jump on or move while on the mattress. To be perfectly frank, my wife and I tend to give our beds a pretty good work out and this bed frame is not phased in the least bit.

Great bed frame from Carol Stream, IL on 01/31/2015 – Verified Buyer
We really like this bed frame but I wanted to post some correct measurements. The bottom of the side rails sit 8 inches above the floor and it is 5.5 inches wide, so the top is 13.5 inches from the floor. In the Q&A they state that the mattress sits 4 inches into the frame, but it is really only 2.5 inches. This was a big concern for us because we were worried that 4 inches would make the bed too short and also difficult to get the sheet onto the mattress. We actually wanted it even taller (I'm 6'5") so we were able to put the side rails on upside down so that the slats sit toward the top of the side rail instead of toward the bottom. This puts the top of the slats just 0.5 inch below the top of the side rail at about 13 inches off the floor. With our 13 inch mattress that put our bed height at 26 inches which is just what we wanted. There are 4 center legs that have a height adjustment and we were able to adjust them all the way up to make them work with this arrangement. I may replace them later (they are just stained 2X2's) for aesthetics if we get tired of seeing the feet extended all they way down, but you usually can't see them unless you are on the floor.

A good quality product from Charleston, SC on 10/02/2012 – Verified Buyer
I purchased a great mattress on sale that I wanted to pair with a decent bed. However, I move frequently and wanted a bed that had a bit of portability (something that would be easy to put-up and break down) and also decent quality. This is an outstanding bed for what I wanted. Set-up time for me was about an hour from unpacking to putting the mattress on it. Simply laid-out the parts on the floor, connect the corners posts with screws and put the slats on. Given that I'd be breaking the bed down in about 8 months I didn't use screws for all the slats, only those slats on the end were screwed in. The webbing that connected the slats equally space them out and the weight of the mattress would hold them in place; thus, no need to screw them all in. I attached the support piece that runs down the middle of the bed only at the end slats. Again the weight of the mattress holds it in place. About 16 to 18 screws total holds everything together. The bed doesn't rock or creak and looks great. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this bed to people who would want a quality bed for less than $150.

Very nice for the price! from San Diego, CA on 06/16/2010
Just a couple of tips for future buyers. Most importantly, do not tighten any of the screws during preliminary set up. The frame does only come with enough screws for every other slat so I purchased another dozen and I did not tighten the slat screws until AFTER aligning the corners nice and even and tightening. I think that if you tighten the slat screws as you put each one in that it may seem like the holes will not all line up and it may disallow the corners to have an even appearance. So just put them in about a third before tightening them at the very end. My queen set also came with 4 support legs (unlike description)and I thought that was great. It appears to be very sturdy and I had an easy time putting it together (and I'm a girl!)I do recommend an electric screw driver for the slat screws to save your wrists.

outstanding quality from Zionsville, IN on 03/10/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is a solid wood frame - not those composite fake wood furniture in this and even higher price points. This is queen size for our elderly mother and we already had two twins in our own home so I knew I could count on the quality construction. Slats are close together and secured to both the side rails and the center support. We have the espresso which is rich color stain and it goes really well with a queen bamboo headboard in a medium natural shade (just leaning against the wall) - like one would see in the tropics. These are must-have beds that should last a lifetime. Be careful that the instructions are a little confusing as to which "numbered" holes to install the various screws into when building the center rail section - be sure NOT to insert the 4 legs of the center support into the holes that have the brass nuts underneath the center rail. Those 4 holes are for the slats that you install onto the center rail later. Therefore they need to improve the accuracy of the instructions lest you install screws in the wrong places in the center rail.
