Merax Mid-Back Task Chair
Spend a little more and get a good chair
Flint from Summerville, SC
Chair arrived with a broken armrest. Part lists shows left and right armrest with same part no. Between myself and Merax we confused which armrest is actually needed for replacement. Received wrong side. Went back and forth with their customer service person too many times. Not worth the time or money all persons were investing to correct the issue. The chair itself is of poor quality and uncomfortable. I concluded today with their customer service person no further correspondence is necessary over such a simple matter.

Even though I needed my son's help to put the coasters in, this chair is great in my craftsewingoffice room is moves over my low pile carpeting with little effort. I also want to say it does work well for adults if your not large. I'm very please with this Merax chair.

This chair will work perfect for our 11 year old at his new desk. It is definitely not designed for a larger person and would not expect it to hold up under heavy weight. But for what we bought it for, it will be functional. It assembles pretty easily. Our 11 year old put it together almost all by himself. One of the casters arrived defective, but after a phone call to the friendly customer service department, it was replaced in just a couple of days and works beautifully. My son is very pleased with his new chair.

Casters difficult to put on

I like the chair, but the casters (rollers) were very difficult to put onto the base. I had to push really hard. The instructions should state that the casters have to be pushed not screwed onto the base. Also, the chair has a handle to lower or rase the seat, but so far it hasnt worked at all for me.

Got exactly what I wanted for a really great price. It was easy to put together and there were no missing parts. My granddaughter loves spinning on it.
Not for us tall folks.
