Melissa and Doug Large Golden Retriever Plush Stuffed Animal

I was a little skeptical on purchasing this item. My daughter really wanted a real-looking dog and was trying to find one that was closest to the dog "Sandy" in the Annie movie. My daughter bought this with her own money and she is very happy with her purchase. It is really big and it does shed a little, but it was worth the money.

It was everything I expected and more. It is so life like, I have to take a second glance to make sure it isn't really a dog in my house. I bought it for my 7 yr old son and he loves it. I will be buying another one for my daughter.

My daughter in Boston lost her Golden in Jan.2010, I purchased this item to comfort her lost, she cried after she had opened the box, she told me it looked just like her beloved Golden, she put the collar on it, cried her eyes out, and fall asleep with it. I am very happy with the purchase, because nothing better then give your children love and comfort when they are far away from home.

This big Golden Retriever was the perfect gift of a dear friend of mine that just recently lost her beloved Golden "Simba". It will serve as a happy memory for her forever. It was the perfect size. I adorned it with a 19th century little boy's straw hat and and a red scarf around its neck which had special meaning to my friend. Thank you!

The dog is great but it would be nice if the limbs were movable. Some in this series have movable legs and heads. The Golden R. does not. Also, his nose color wore away in one spot within a few days. We just colored it in with permanent marker but it would have been nice not to have to do that, especially for the price of this product.

My son loves "Air Bud".

I bought this dog for a friend as a surprise. She had seen it in a store and thought it was adorable. It is very realistic looking according to my friend. In fact, she was startled by it several times thinking it was real. She absolutely loves this stuffed dog. I would highly recommend it.

While on vacation, my son saw the M&D Rottweiler dog at a gift shop and fell in love. I told him when we got home, we would look on the internet for a cuter dog and a better price. [...]We couldn't be more pleased. My son loves dogs and wants a pet, but I have severe allergies. So he loves his new "pet." He sleeps with him and plays with him all the time. Plus - he doesn't need to be walked, fed, brushed, cleaned, taken to the vet or cleaned up ater (well - he does shed a wee bit)! This would be a great item for an older person who is missing their beloved pet, but unable to care for a new one. [...]
