About the Manufacturer

In the beginning, all the founder of Lifetime Products wanted was a sturdier basketball pole for his backyard. With this in mind, he found and purchased a piece of heavy-duty used pipe, a sheet of plywood, and a basketball rim. The result was a basketball standard for his backyard. That was 1972.

Seeing the potential that others might also desire a quality basketball system in their yards, he placed an ad in the "Big Nickel," the local free classified newspaper, and made his first sale. The rest — as they say — is history.

Not too many years after selling his first basketball system, he created the American PlayWorld company in 1973, which he based in his garage located in Riverdale, Utah. Gradually this store kept expanding into many more types of playground equipment, and was eventually moved to a bigger location in South Ogden, Utah.

Several years later, the company transformed the Basketball industry with the introduction of the Quick Adjust basketball pole — the first complete basketball system you could raise up and down with a broomstick.

In March 1986, a separate company was created to concentrate specifically on manufacturing adjustable basketball systems. This new company was named Lifetime Products, the name inspired by the goal of building a durable, lasting product.

Today, Lifetime Products Inc. has applied innovation and cutting-edge technology in plastics and metals to create a family of affordable lifestyle products that feature superior strength and durability. The world's leading manufacturer of folding tables and Chairs, Lifetime was founded as the maker of portable basketball systems that revolutionized the industry with patented technology. With new offerings such as outdoor sheds and utility trailers, Lifetime continues to develop innovative products that outfit the lifestyles of today's Americans.

In the time since those first crucial years in Lifetime's history, the company has grown from having 18 employees in a 32,000 square-foot space in half a warehouse in the Clearfield, Utah Freeport Center to over 1,400 employees and 2.6 million square feet spread over 23 separate buildings.

Great shed for the money and looks great.

from Jasper, TN – Verified Buyer

This is a great shed. I put mine on a 2x6 frame with 2x6 16 on center and decked with 54x6 deck boards which made a very strong floor. I put this together by myself in about 14 hours including the floor. There are some steps that are somewhat difficult by your self but take your time and you will figure it out. One of the most difficult parts is installing the wall panels without them falling over, to overcome this I used a 6' step latter and clamp to hold the walls up. One thing I would highly recommend is a can of silicone spray which will make snapping the panels in a breeze. One question I have read in other reviews is will the sky light panels interchange and the answer is yes. I put mine on the back side of the shed. The only other thing I would say is that you must have a flat and level foundation whether it be wood gravel or dirt.

Not so sure

from Escondido, CA – Verified Buyer

The product is well made and the instructions are not that bad to follow. The quality is exceptional and the finished product is probably the best of any similar product. I already had one of these and this was the second one. Wayfair / All Modern is amazing with their customer service. No one could provide better customer care then Wayfair / All Modern. Now, that all being said, Lifetime's honesty when it comes to shipping and order fulfillment is less than acceptable. They provided over six different dates for delivery and met none of them. The are not customer focused in anyway and it took an act of Congress to get them to be responsive. I would buy another one because the product is great but I would recommend that Lifeline provide a course in customer satisfaction for their own employees.

Awesome shed

from porterville, CA – Verified Buyer

This shed is perfect for what we needed, storing our lawn and garden items. It's sky lights and windows eliminate the need for electric light. It's two entrances are so convenient, allowing one door for your more frequently used tools and the other for your walk-in entrance. It's also a good looking building unlike some other storage sheds I've seen. Pros: Good-looking, quality, good size. Cons: Assembly is a challenge. Set-aside a day with a friend to complete.

Great looking shed

from SOUTH HAVEN, MI – Verified Buyer

haven't had the product assembled long enough to know how this product stands up over time. Assembly took quite a while. Good directions! Took us longer to build a good foundation to locate it on though! Arranging delivery was a bit of a hassle. Communication could be improved... considerably. Wish I could have talked directly to the guy who drove the truck to my house as he was very helpful and made getting it off the truck stress free. Kudos to him!!! Pros: Looks good, assembly went smoothly, no parts were missing or damaged Cons: no steel structure within the walls. Hope it lasts over time.

Product as expected. Instructions impossible, screw packages incorrect and poorly labeled.

from San Diego, CA – Verified Buyer

The shed is up, and is as expected, double strength walls, nice latches on doors although floor latch hard to operate. Shipping was a disaster. Emailed a date, then no show. Emailed another date and called me a day earlier saying they were 10 minutes away...I wasn't home. They left the package without signature (fine), but the next day another truck arrives and says he is here to deliver. Turns out wrong delivery, but need new carrier for delivery. I hired 2 (read the reviews that said 2 people needed), and it took them 1 1/2 days with much confusion re directions and missing screws. In the end my engineer husband helped, but agreed the directions were a disaster. We now have a shed that looks like the picture, and only had to do minor adjustments to add parts that were supports, but not figured out my the men. Also, a huge pile of extra ?? screws. Pros: Sturdy, tall enough for a 6'2" person to stand up in easily in the entire shed, nice floor and double walls. Cons: Delivery and insructions.

Really nice shed

Order came quick, make sure you have someone to help assemble. Also make sure the base is level so the doors close smoothly.

It is great!!!

from GA – Verified Buyer

We use one side of the entry only for our lawn tractor and the other side of the entry for a general access. My husband, my oldest son and myself spent for three days to build this shed. My youngest son helped to organize a lot of pieces too. It is very useful and has plenty of room to store a lot of things. I highly recommend this product.

Don't buy it if you get any Snow!

from Lancaster, NY

This Shed roof has a limited Snow Load. Mine collapsed in 2 months. Stay away from this Shed if you get lots of snow! Pros: Looks nice. Cons: Waste of money if you get lots of Snow - Big Risk - walls are thin and easy to buckle.
