This lamp has a great style but is terrible quality and looks very cheap in person. The construction is very poor and the item is definitely not worth the money.

Clean, modern/contemporary design at a reasonable price. Love the ability to adjust the lamp height - can pull down lower for great reading light. Very easy to assemble. The only downside is that the barrel shade does not have a diffuser on the top of the shade. If you have the fixture adjusted so that it's at a good reading height, the top of the shade is around 50". If you walk past the lamp, you end up looking down into the shade and seeing the light bulb and supports for the shade. I ended up placing it at the other end of the sofa than I originally intended. If the light isn't going to be located next to an area that you walk past (or you rarely have the fixture at that height), it won't be an issue.
