Jonti-Craft has always been committed to employing the highest quality construction techniques available. Historically, that has been their popular dado construction. After years of research, they also innovated a dowel pinning construction technique that launched a new generation of Jonti-Craft quality products.

Jonti-Craft products are KYDZStrong, always built from the strongest materials available. Their Rainbow Accents furniture is constructed of 5/8" thermo-fused melamine board - the highest quality in existence. All Birch furniture is constructed of eleven ply 5/8" Baltic Birch plywood. Items requiring solid wood are constructed of Northern Hard Maple, which is stronger than oak.

Their trademark safety features include famous KYDZ Hinges, full length piano hinges attached with a minimum of nine screws, each the strongest and safest hinges available. They feature a 270° pivot, making it difficult to separate them from the unit. Ultimately, this minimizes the chance of pinching little fingers.

Their popular rounded KYDZSafe edges and corners provide maximum safety for children in busy classrooms and daycare centers. In their Rainbow Accents line, the KYDZSafe edges are highlighted in vibrant color with a flexible edge-band thermo-fused to the furniture for exceptional durability and safety.
