Jesper Office 32" Lateral File

I wanted something that looked like furniture to replace two file cabinets I got from work that are metal. I also wanted something that locks. Something about the locking mechanism seems cheap (it's noisy when I turn the key). The cabinet looks great I just hope the lock mechanism doesn't break.

Great quality for the price. Heavy. Using it in home office. Hardly any assembly. Only con is that for some reason the package holding the bar holders was missing one. Since I didn't need so many it wasn't a big deal.

I ordered this file cabinet in the dark coffee color and it looks great. The cabinet arrived fully assembled after about a week which was fast and easy. I have shopped around in local stores and have not been able to find a better deal for a similiar product. We will most likely order a few more pieces from this group in the near future.

My fiancé and I have been looking for a better solution for our important paperwork than the plastic file boxes we've been using, but we didn't want the ugly industrial metal filing cabinets. We wanted a quality piece of furniture that we could display in our home. I did a bit of Googling and found this one, which perfectly meets our needs. A couple online retailers offer this same file cabinet, but Wayfairs had the best price. It turned out to be a lot more sturdy and well made than I expected for the money, and the lock is a major plus. The bottom file drawer is plenty big enough to hold my and my fiancé's letter sized files, while the upper drawer will be used for storing basic office-type supplies like pens, pencils, stapler, etc. On top of that, when we leave or have company over, we can stash our valuables in the top drawer and lock it for security. It comes with two keys so we can both have one. The espresso finish is great, matches the rest of our furniture very well, and the only assembly I had to do was screwing in the drawer handles and placing the hanging file supports in the drawers. My sole complaint is that the drawers provide a bit more resistance than I think they should, but they'll either get better with time or I'll figure out how to grease the slides. Regardless, I'm willing to overlook that one tiny drawback in light of all the great things it has going for it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
