Flimsy, Confusing Directions, Finish Damages Easily
SenSan from Seattle, WA
The Armoire is more a a red mahogany or cherry color in my opinion. It does match the book cases and TV high boy - both are cherry. I am pretty good a put-together stuff, but this was a bit confusing as the directions were just numbers and letter of what to use at that step. I would have been easier if I would have had another person the help with the assembly. I did it alone and it took me about 2 hours. Used the kitchen chairs to hold up the shelves while I worked on the other sections. The unit is not strong - so when I moved it about - it got all bendy - not square - I thought it might fold in half. Went out an bought some caster to put on the bottom so that I could push it - this made it easier to move. The finish has some kind of dust on it. I cleaned it with a damp cloth and later with wood polish. Still had that dusty-smear on it that is easily seen. The factory used some kind of super sticky glue for their label and it would not come off. Left a damp cloth on the sticker to loosen it.. do not work. The sticker still peeled of in strips and then the laminate bubbled up and the color came off. That area looks like polka-dots now. There is plenty of room for 2 flat screen monitors and my big HP printer. The unit needs to be better re-enforced. It is very wobbly and the finish is peeling on some of the ends. It scratches off easily. One of the printer boards was drilled incorrectly - so instead of a finished end - it is the raw end. To avoid the hassle of asking for a new part, I use took a wood-marker and colored in the unfinished edge. I had too many parts and not enough of a couple of others. The doors do not fold flat on the unit, they stay open. I would not buy any more Innovex items in the future based on the quality of this Armoire. Unfortunately this Armoire is NOT returnable once it is assembled, so I am stuck with it. I will look for something stronger at a fair price. This will most likely end up in the garage for storage and in a garage sale next summer.
The right size, the wrong materials

So, I read what others said about this item. But an overriding need for something to house a 27" monitor and keep it away from my toddler said, buy it anyway. It is flimsy, and the keyboard tray is determined to fall down at any opportunity. Chips at the slightest touch. Will it fall apart? Time will tell, but the price paid is certainly not what it is worth. The photos make it look much more rich than it really appears.
Computer Armoire Desk
Sandra from Shawnee, OK – Verified Buyer
Not a great products, but functional. Armoire serves the purpose by keeping computer, keyboard, tower and printer all contained inside and hidden which I do like. Product did match product description, however very flimsy was not very stable so my husband put together wood glue also hoping to help with stablity, the backing was very thin and did not add any support so instead of using the backing provided he cut and stained a piece of bead board for the back to stabelize. Regarding instruction, they need to be simplified , and boards need to be marked top and bottom, left side top size etc, they are hard to tell, and a note that all screws go on the underside, its hard to tell when putting together. I would probably not choose this one again if I had it to do over, but it is serving the purpose of not having a open messy computer desk. And as the old saying goes. you get what you pay for. The price was cheap but so was the product.
Very poor quality

This Armoire is very pretty in the pictures but when received I found it was very flat and made with very poor materials. The price I paid was way too much for the quality received. I am still extremely disappointed.
Hides Your Office Stuff Nicely
Desert Shopping Queen from Palm Springs, CA – Verified Buyer
I purchased this unit a few weeks ago and so far so good. Took a while to put together and goes much faster if you can bribe, I mean, find someone to help you. One of the doors doesn't close too well, but it looks nice and most importantly, hides my office stuff as the space it's in now doubles as my guest room. Great value although clearly not solid wood you're getting as indicated by the price. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.
not bad for the price

its not as nice as in the picture, but it works well Pros: easy assembly Cons: not the best quality

It's a little cheaper looking than I would have expected but it's working out for what I want it for.

The color was nice but the quality was not so great, you definitely get what you pay for. I was sent the wrong pieces and was in touch with the company to have the mistake corrected. They attempted to fix it but ultimately I had to wait on shipping two different times and the problems remained unresolved. I gave up so I received a refund on this and got another item from wayfair that I am much happier with. Wayfair had great customer service in dealing with this issue but I would not recommend this item if you are looking for a sturdy wood armoire.
Decent & economical

We wanted an economically priced space saver cabinet for our computer, and this has worked great so far. It was easy to assemble as promised. Some of the finish is wearing a little already, under our computer mouse (with about a month of use).
Cheap, but you know that already

I didnt expect much for the price, and didnt get much for the price. Its functional and in my den where I dont need a high-profile, well-made piece of furniture. I bought it for storage, not at a computer armoire, and its perfect for that. Its cheap press board and arrived with a huge scratch on the top (which I cover with a duvet for the guest bed). Its so cheaply made, that some of the washers were stripped, so the armoire is slightly wider, meaning the sliding tray that should hold the keyboard wont slide in and stay. Again, I bought it for storage, so thats not a problem. If I were working from home and needed a computer armoire, I would buy something more solid. For an out-of-the-way place like a rarely-used guestroom or for storage, it fits the bill.
