Assembly was pretty simple because there were numbers on the hardware which correlated to the instructions. I got a little confused with the sliding hardware assembly but with some integrity I worked it out. This desk looks contemporary and has an airy look to it. It's very sturdy and well made. The only thing lacking was the instructions for building it. They were a little vague, but if you are not easily frustrated by this kind of thing you should be able to put it together in under an hour. As another user noted the surface of the pull out keyboard is a little rough for an ideal experience if you use a mouse. You may need to use a mouse pad, no biggie. Was this helpful? Yes / No
