Worth every penny -- great value

We use this product as extra counter space and storage primarily, and food presentation (buffet-style) secondarily.
Great cart, average instructions
Earth Mama from Houston, TX
Love this cart. I'd been looking for months for a good cart with the features I wanted at a reasonable price. Found this one and based on the other reviews, decided to order it. Keeping in mind the other reviews about the so-so instructions, I tasked my husband and 11 yo son with assembly. They put it together in about two hours. The primary comments on assembly were that the instructions weren't clear about which end was up on some of the pieces since they could begin to be assembled in either direction, and that hand held power tools are your friend. Otherwise, the casters have not given me problems as is commented in some other reviews. The quality of the pieces seems to be well above the price point for the cart. The wood does have some sort of urethane finish on it that makes the water bubble on the surface though I wouldn't necessarily test it by leaving water sitting since the cart is made from wood. The magnets for the doors hold quite well and the drawer slides seem to be snug but smooth. The shelves inside the two door sections do have three levels for height selection. A nice touch for adjusting to store different height items. The towel role removes quite easily but we haven't used it yet because the baby would love to unroll a fresh paper towel roll but it does function superbly as another towel rack. You can't have too many of those in a kitchen. The spice rack has another rod underneath for hanging towels or hooks for maybe potholders. All in all, a great buy and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a kitchen cart that does NOT come with wine storage.[...]

This island is way beyond expectations. First, it is solid wood, no particle board. The instructions are in English ( not translated English). All the parts are marked (with a sticker so there is no doubt) It tells you there will be so many screws plus "one extra" and there were. Each package of screws are marked as to what they are. The diagrams are very specific about the order to put it together. ALL THE HOLES LINED UP!!!! save one and it just took a minor adjustment. The screw holes are lined with metal to receive screw and hold in place. It was packed extremely well with each piece wrapped or covered with hard styrofoam so there was no rubbing of pieces.
Great storage and versatility

We got this kitchen island to help create a "kitchen" area in another room. It's really nice and packed well for delivery! Assembling it took me a couple of days to do--there's a lot to it! The island is versatile in that it can be used as an island, but we have it against a wall (there's a gap behind it with it this way) to create counter space near a fridge. The back is finished off nicely, which is a good touch if it's going to be used for an island. For those who like solid wood, this does have some wood byproduct component to some parts (i.e., it's not solid wood--there are some veneers over likely MDF). Overall, it adds a lot of storage with two shelves (one divider) in each cupboard, two drawers, and three shelves in the center. One of the drawers didn't line up properly (it hit the top and wouldn't close) so that the drawer glide needed realignment, which is the only reason for taking a star off.

The kitchen cart arrived safe and in only two days from ordering. I took my time and had it assembled in about 3 hours. I use it as an island on wheels in my kitchen. I left off the towel rack and condiment extension on purpose to give me more space & flexibility, but I could attach them if iI choose. I bought it for $322.46 but was disappointed when it listed for $309.00 the very next day. Maybe Wayfair can be a good sport and refund me the difference, particularly if they want me to by a dreeser with entertainment section sometime in the future. Good Luck!
Well worth the purchase

The kitchen we selected this island to occupy was seriously lacking in counter and storage space. This is just right! I have put together several do-it-yourself-assembly kits over the years, so I am well acquainted with following instructions. The instructions were easy to read and the diagrams were sufficient, although I would recommend a few minor alterations to the steps and diagrams to provide a more thorough explanation. It took me about two hours to complete from opening the box to the final step of placing the wood plugs in the screw/bolt holes. The island is made almost entirely of solid wood and the parts are manufactured quite well. It is sturdy and adequate for its size. The only criticism to offer is that the locking mechanisms on the castors (wheels) don't hold the cart in place as well as they should. Other than that, it's a great product and I would gladly purchase it again!

I bought this and assembled it for a friend. It looks great and is really good quality. This was a few years ago and it is still in great shape. It wasn't the easiest to assemble but it was worth the price.
perfect for my use!

Nice solid piece! The kitchen in my new house needed a little more counter space (never enough!) and I am using it as a peninsula... gives extra storage and is great for storing all the cookie sheets sheets and baking pans by not using the shelves on one side. VERY impressed by the price and is deeper than most I have seen... Perfect for making noodles and pie crusts!

If there were more stars available, I would give them. This kitchen cart is solid wood (which is in the description), very heavy, and looks exquisite. It did take a lot of time to put together, but I know that I will always have this piece. The spice rack is perfect for my salt, pepper, and common spices. The drawers open and close smoothly. I have mine pushed up against a wall and I pull it out when I need more seating. It is counter height. The price is wonderful and I definitely recommend this item.
Napa kitchen cart

pros-pretty wood, good design, and fits well in my kitchen, looks very nice. I like the doors and shelves on it, and it is decent quality. Cons- It is not quite as large as my last one, even tho it measures the same, because it included the paper towel rack on one side, and spice rack on the other. I'd prefer to have more table space instead. The locks do not work very well, because when someone leans against it as my disabled husband tends to do, it moves in spite of the wheels being locked;it has only two wheels that lock. It takes quite a while to put together, and can be quite daunting-plan on two people. I searched for quite a while for the right one, and for the money, this is worth the price, and looks nice in my kitchen.
