After searching for months to find a desk to replace the one we have had for years, we finally decided on this one. It has all of the options we were looking for. (plus a few extras!) The design is exactly what we wanted. We had read about the difficulty some people had with putting this desk together and also that some people had parts missing or damaged. The appearance of the desk and the price made us want to give it a try any way. The assembly was not difficult! All the necessary parts arrived in 100 good condidion as well! This desk is an excellent quaity product for a very reasonable price! I would definitely recommend it!
Really nice desk.

This desk is very nice quality. It is hard wood, not pressed and for the most part everything lined up pretty well. The middle right drawer is just slightly crooked, but not very noticeable. As far as putting it together, it does take a couple of hours, but honestly, I think it took me longer to unwrap all the pieces! They actually wrap and tape each piece very carefully. It took forever, but there wasn't a stray mark anywhere!
Worth the effort

This desk arrived very quickly which is always a bonus. Assembly took 5-6 hours but the instructions are very detailed and relatively easy to follow. The only issue is the sliding middle drawer. For some reason it won't slide in all the way. Planning to call the customer help line included with the instructions to request assistance. Other than that, the desk looks good and is very sturdy. It's of good quality and a great addition to our room.
Worth the price

A little tough to assemble as they don't really give instructions, just drawings. Some panels where missing stickers, so a little educated guesswork is needed. However, the fit is pretty good, it is very functional and no parts or screws were missing. I just ordered a file cabinet to go along with it (don't make the same exact style unfortunately, but close enough). Just take your time and you have a nice desk for less money than elsewhere.
Worth the time to assemble

It took me about 5 hours on my own (with some breaks) to fully unpack, assemble, and clean up this beautiful desk. It is VERY sturdy and it was well designed with vent or chord holes on the inside of seating area of desk instead of behind which can be unattractive unless against a wal. If you are trying to assemble this, make sure in steps 2 and 3 to put together the bottom pannel and base first before attaching it to outside pannels (parts B, C, or D, E)

The desk arrived quickly. It is made of real wood and assembly was easy. One part was missing and was sent to us within a matter of days. At first the front of the keyboard drawer didn't pull down to lay flat. We adjusted the screws so they were looser than one would think they should be, and it lays flat now.
Nice piece of furniture

Bought this desk and couldn't be happier with it. Very solid piece of furniture. My only complaint is the goofy twising toggle apparatii that they use to hold the top on. I hate those things and which furniture manufacturers would just screw things together. Over time, they always seem to loosen up.

Very difficult to put together. Had to use screws instead of the hardware that came with it. But when put together it was well worth it. The desk is beautiful. It is a very heavy desk, so I would suggest putting it in its place first before setting the top on it, or it will be too heavy to move all together. The company is very cooperative and I would buy from them again.
Great looking desk - poor craftsmanship
Jessica from Plainfield, IL– Verified Buyer
I purchased this desk to put in my living room office. The product came quickly, but upon opening the packaging there were a few damaged pieces as well as poorly manufactured pieces.I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly sent replacements which was great but upon putting the desk together it was quite a nightmare. My husband and I are both very experienced with putting furniture together, there were several pieces where the holes were drilled incorrectly. We had to use our own tools and re drill the holes so that the screws would fit in the lock nuts. The piece took well over 6 hours to construct from start to finish. The finished product looks beautiful but with close inspection you can see where pieces didn't quite line up. For a desk that costs over $400 it is not worth the cost.

Easy assembly, very sturdy and a perfect fit. We had a hard time finding a smaller desk with a file drawer. This one has plenty of drawer space and is not too deep for our space. It is a true black color (not expresso which is dark, dark brown) that we had a hard time finding. Really pleased.
