Hamilton Cassette Recorder with 2 Jacks

I bought this for my 91 year old mother, and the requirement was that it be easy to use. It fills the bill.

Works exactly as described and as desired. I use it regularly in teaching my classes. It is an invaluable aid.

I originally purchased this to use for my in-home preschool. I ended up closing my daycare before we started using it. I brought it out a few months later for my 4yr old to use with her reading tapes. The second time she used it, she hit the FF button after the tape had reached the end. When I heard the racket, I checked to see what was wrong. When I stopped it and tried to use it after that, it no longer worked. The rotor completely fails to work now. Considering this machine is not cheap and advertised as being durable for school use, I was severly dissappointed. Pressing FF or RW at the end/beginning of a tape should NOT ruin the player. I'm just glad I didn't purchase an entire set as I had planned. We will be buying a cheap retail cd/cassette player for half the price. Oh yeah, and the sound is terrible, even as cassette players go.
