Guidecraft Natural Kitchenette Center Play Kitchen Set
Kids Love It!
LaShada from Washington, DC
Purchased for my preschool and the children absolutely love it! One downside, the door to the microwave was not assembled properly (pegs that make the door swing misaligned) so I have to fix it

This kitchen center was inexpensive and shipped quickly. Unfortunately the black burners broke off within a day or two. I'm nervous about how well this set will hold up.

Bought this because of neutral color, natural solid wood look and compact design for my tiny 2 yr. grandson. Unhappy that although narrow it is taller than other kitchens. Small was the point I was going for so surprised by this. Good for older children 5 where you want the height. Also wood warped and it will not sit without wobble. To much trouble to return after assembled or I would have and bought Kidkraft primary kitchen. Little shorter, very compact and much cheaper. Bought the kidkraft in pink for my Grand daughter and I like it better.
Very pleased with this kitchen

Very easy to put together (did it horribly sleep-deprived in the space of an hour). Sturdy and nicely rounded edges to protect little ones. My daughter plays with it constantly. It's good for smaller spaces too.
I would buy this product again.

Fairly easy to put together. However at one point an extra set of hands is extremely helpful. The sides of the bottom cabinets were slightly warped, so the shelf on each side didn't stay in the grooves. However, after a day or so, they seemed to stay better. The only negative I saw was that the magnets to shut the doors were extremely strong. It made it very difficult for even adults to open the doors. It was next to impossible for my young grandson to open the doors on his own. We sort of solved the problem by taping heavy paper over the magnets to reduce the pull. The other thing I would have liked is to have the oven door pull down (instead of opening from the side). The way the handle was attached it implied that the door opened downward. It was somewhat awkward to have the handle at the top and to pull it from the side. It was difficult for my grandson to figure out how the door opened.

This is a great kitchen for my 2 year old daughter. I would recommend it to anyone with patience in assembling toys. I had to call the manufacturer twice for replacement parts as the initial shipment was either missing, or had a couple of damaged parts. Once we had everything here, it was easy to assemble and is sturdy for many hours of imaginative play.
