I brought this product to replace the one I had in my living room which was bulkier. While it takes up less space I find that it is Not a Sturdy product. I have my computer monitor and keyboard on it and my printer on the smaller shelf. When I print something out of my printer the whole table shakes and some of the screws that came with it were very annoying to use. (Not normal screws) Perhaps if it had come with normal screws it would have been easier to put together and sturdier. Oh and some L brackets would have been very useful to make it sturdier so I guess I will have to buy those and work some magic to make it sturdier. If your not handy with tools I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you are handy or you know someone who is that can figure how to make it studier then I would recommend the product as it does save space.
My review, long overdue!

I received my product before the actual delivery date, which was a plus. To be honest the wood itself looked kind of cheap (I guess you get what you paid for, minus the shipping and handling fee) not what I was expecting. I also noticed a minor scratch on one of the boards prior to assembling. The assembly process was very easy, but it took me longer than it was supposed to due to my lack of following instructions correctly. The printer shelf was the perfect size for my printer, which was also a plus plus plus. I solely made the purchase because of the printer shelf. I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend to purchase ONLINE for someone like me who lives outside of the US, the shipping and handling cost isn't worth it to be honest. I would recommend that they go in stores and find a desk in this case that is a better quality and worth every penny you're willing to spend.
very nice desk

Purchased on 719, arrived on 724. I bought 2 of these and 1 arrived broken in the box. I called customer service and my replacement part was shipped the next day. It will be here on 729! So if the same thing happens to you, don't stress - Wayfair will take care of it super fast. Aside from that tiny issue, the desk is very nice. I reinforced every part with a tiny line of wood glue, and the cam locks with super glue. You don't need to do this, but it keeps manufactured wood furniture from getting wobbly. My desk doesn't budge or creak, and looks expensive. It holds heavy college textbooks on the shelves without dipping, and the top holds a 15 laptop with room for a mouse pad. I'm going to buy 2 more of these for my kids. You can't beat this price & service anywhere.

The desk suits my needs but it is a little rickety. There is enough room to fit my 27" iMac and wireless printer. I like the clean simple design. I had to put two heavy boxes on the second and third shelf in order to balance the weight since it was leaning more toward the front. I would have given it a better rating if I wasn't worried about it falling apart if someone accidentally bumped into it.
Very Flimsy and Cheap

Purchased for a furnished rental and I'm sure it won't last even one tenant. Once someone puts their foot on the rail on the bottom of the desk, they are going to pull the fasteners out of the pressed board. I had to find a place in the house there the wall would support it as much as possible which fortunately I did as it fit perfectly in a space and is supported on three sides. But, the price was reasonable and for now it looks nice.

This desk was by far the most affordable I have found online and even from in-stores, but it's sturdy and that's what I love. It's not huge, but it's humble for my townhouse and it definitely serves its purpose well ! It would be great for small apartments or if you are just wanting to find something cheap, but sustainable. If you aren't looking for anything too fancy it's a good pick, definitely. Even for college apartments. Assembly is always a hassle with anything, honestly. Just make sure you have some tools available to make it easier or just muscle !
Really like it

Will do for the money
On the Water from Hallandale, FL– Verified Buyer
Cheap, easy to assemble and with care should work fine for the money. This is just sturdy enough to do the job in a very small nook of our place acting as a lite laptop workstation to check email, etc for about an hour a day. When we move I'm sure this will wind up in the trash but you never know, we could be surprised. Added some wood glue to the compressed material for added strength so overall it should last as a not bad piece of pressboard furniture.
Served its purpose

I think that as of now, the desk serves its purpose and is a great price! It fir perfectly in the bedroom and goes well my existing Expresso furniture. The bottom line for me is I have a place to set my printer, other odds and ends, and work at the same time without having an official office. So far, I am happy customer!
Works well in a small apartment

This was painful to put together (lower quality hardware, required two people, took 2 hours, etc), but fits well and looks great. Shipped quickly with no issues.
