Not bery soft. Product was hard to put together. The holes didn't lineup. screw holes bent not straight. Not very good . Hard seat.

Putting this chair together was a wee bit of a pain. It was easy to assemble, until it came to the joining the seat, back and arms. The cushioning was a bit too good for me to manipulate with arthritic hands. I had to have my husband finish it. It didn't take him long at all. After assembled, I was very happy. The comfort is perfect for me. I usually end up sitting in indian style sitting position, and this chair is perfectly wide and flat to keep it comfortable. Traditional sitting is also relaxing...no hugging or too much contouring of the body...just cushioned comfort. The only downfall...the arms aren't padded or cushioned yet the molded contour is comfortable enough. This works well for the home, in a shared bedroom setting. The design is just right, where it doesn't compete with other furnishings.
