Very nice safe for a pistol. Holds plenty of ammunition, as well as the weapon and a couple of loaded magazines. Was very easy to install, and keeps my weapon and ammo away from unwanted hands.

I needed secure storage of personal protection handguns in our house when our grandchildren visit. This safe provides quick access as well as secure storage away from children until they are old enough to learn safe/authorized handling practices.
Not too small, not too large
College Mom from Missouri– Verified Buyer
We wanted our child to have a way of keeping important documents, spare keys, and electronics safe at college as theft is a big problem on college campuses. We bolted the safe into the bottom drawer of a two drawer locking legal file cabinet that fit in a dorm room closet. The top opening design of this safe worked perfectly for this application. The safe is ideal for valuables and the rest of the cabinet works for storage of other valuables like textbooks. Someone could walk away with a safe, but it is unlikely they will go to the work of taking a file cabinet. Other students think it is a great idea. The cost of the safe divided by 4 years of security at college is well worth it.
